It just took one bad rainy season for Bengaluru to face a massive water shortage crisis. Given that extreme weather conditions will only become more common, this probably won't be the last time we face this crisis. I learned recently that wastewater could be part of the solution. Bengaluru's total freshwater demand is ~2632 (million litres a day) MLD, and it generates ~2000 MLD of wastewater. Of this, centralized sewage treatment plants treat ~1,300 MLD, and this water is used for agricultural purposes. About 3,500 apartments and commercial establishments have decentralized sewage treatment plants (STPs) and waste ~80% of their excess STP water. This STP water is low quality and mostly unusable beyond flushing and gardening. If this excess STP water can be converted to high-quality water, about 450–500 MLD of water demand could be met by decentralized treatment plans. Boson White Water is one startup we met that is trying to solve the problem of converting STP water to potable water.

They are being found in the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, and inside the human body. This is a question of health. A question of children’s future. A question of responsibility before God, before humanity, and before the world entrusted to us. What if I told you the most remarkable feat of engineering occurred over 4,500 years ago? There is a major concern about Data Centers that are using closed loop cooling systems that’s not being talked about There are a lot of chemicals being put into the water used in these systems. That water has to be flushed out every couple years Whistleblowers say that chemical water is being pushed into our streams and waterways and may have extremely limited cleaning requirements depending on state “I'm getting whistleblowers on the inside saying that they're taking all that waste and they're just running it down into the sewers. EXTREMELY CONCERNING 🚨 Today: Moms Across America just got back their toxic metals testing results for baby formula They tested 20 brands including organic, “All of them, a 100% of the 40 samples tested positive for toxic aluminum and lead. All of them. 80% of the samples had lead levels that were higher than what the EPA allows in drinking water. This is very disturbing. Lead is super toxic and harmful for brain development. At 41,000 parts per billion of aluminum in one of the goat's milk baby formulas, that level was 4,000 to 40,000 times higher than the other heavy metals that were found in the, in baby formulas. And that level, when consumed on a daily basis at a normal rate, the way babies normally do, will exceed what the FDA allows in drinking water, or for consumption for of aluminum for a preemie baby. So these babies are getting toxic levels of aluminum in this goat's milk baby formula. It's called, Cabrida. The highest aluminum levels detected was 200 times higher than what the EPA allows in drinking water. That's in that goat's milk formula. The 57% of the samples tested positive for arsenic, 55% for mercury, and 35% for cadmium. Levels of mercury in 4 of the samples were detected above the amounts allowed by the FDA in drinking water, that's 10%. And levels of cadmium in, both samples of one formula were nearly twice the level allowed in drinking water. So the cadmium can cause cancer. Hey y’all. I have a 15-foot pecan tree we planted back in 2012 so it's about 14 years old now. It has never produced a single pecan. We literally just discovered an old, mature pecan tree way at the back of our property. It's covered in vines, including what looks like wild muscadine grapes, and sits right on the property line. We never go back there, so we had no idea it was even there. I have no clue if it actually produces nuts. The old tree is roughly 300 feet, about 100 yards, from the young one. Is that close enough for them to cross pollinate each other? Or should I go ahead and cut the top out of the young tree around 5–6 feet up and graft a branch from the old one? I will learn on the you tubes how do wrap it I guess. Obviously the old tree hasn't helped the young one produce anything yet. Both seem healthy otherwise. Any experienced pecan growers out there? What would you do? Help….

When I received a cancer diagnosis in 2015, I dedicated every waking moment to getting healthy. Step 1 - cure. Step 2 - eliminate the cause. Turns out, step 2 was the hardest part. Newsom: He basically took water that was set aside for this summer’s farming from one part of Central Valley and dumped it into another part—without giving them a heads-up—on water they didn’t need and didn’t even know how to store. They had to turn off the pump because it was starting to impact the levees. None of it went to Southern California. But what Donald Trump did was flood the zone with disinformation and misinformation, celebrating as if he somehow solved the problems in Southern California—somehow equating it to fire hoses and fire suppression. And again, facts get in the way. Narrative matters. Illusion so often rules. The challenge we have—and you know this—is that they dominate right now by flooding the zone and weaponizing misinformation and disinformation. They do it with an asymmetry in communication capacity that we have to address. You are addressing it, and we have to own up to it. We’ve got to build that architecture so we can compete in this space. Because what you just said is not commonly known by the overwhelming majority of people who voted for Donald Trump—people who actually believe that water was sent to Southern California, even though we know that demonstrably was not the case.
