No volunteers guided visitors on which gate to approach for #Mahakaleshwar. When I told a policeman that I had a gate pass and requested entry through Gate 1 or 4, he ignored me and directed me to the Char Dham gate, which was 2 km away. My 76-year-old mother-in-law had tears in her eyes as the 6:00-7:00 slot timing was running out. When I reached the Char Dham gate with an auto that charged Rs. 350 for 2 km, people were breaking barricades, creating a total stampede situation there.
