Most likely it was done with intention. Possibly controlled by someone remotely. Someone who had access to all the real-time flight data and flight plans in the area. Or suicide terrorist attack. Wait to hear what the investigation comes up with. Prayers to all affected.

I believe someone took over the control of that helicopter autonomously

Military aircraft turn off comms often when flying. Divers need black water , night diving, salvage and recover training. This plane should have been floating in a little over than one hour. Cold water revival 1.5 hours. Rescue should encompass the use of lift bags.

Forget the ATC and flight tower for a second, that pilot ran strait towards the lights of that incoming jet. Even if he’s flying ifr instead of vfr he sees those lights. And guaranteed that plane NEVER saw that Blackhawk. Those people were murdered. Imo

RADIO CONTROLLED COPTER. No one in the cockpit. Notice the authorities are only claiming the lives lost from the plane???

That was deliberate. If there was an episode on the copter like illness or a struggle it would not be flying so straight, surely not? There's more to this than meets the eye imo

It was a drone. It was 100% intentional.
