Soon to be inaugurated, the Kalaburagi Zoo at Chittapur is set to become one of the district’s most important new tourism anchors. Spread across nearly 43 acres, the Kalaburgi Zoo is being developed as a major wildlife, education and family recreation destination for Kalaburagi and the wider Kalyana Karnataka region. The new zoo will house enclosures for 56 species, including nocturnal animals, Indian birds, pheasants, mammals, primates, herbivores, amphibians and reptiles. A total of 23 enclosures have already been completed for species such as lion, tiger, sloth bear, zebra, baboon, langur, spotted deer, golden jackal, turtle, gharial, crocodile, python and various bird and reptile species. The zoo will bring more families, schoolchildren, nature lovers and weekend visitors to Chittapur and Kalaburagi, while also creating opportunities for local employment, transport, food services, guides and small businesses.

But now we are going to make the largest investment in Andhra Pradesh. This new AI Hub includes powerful AI infrastructure, data center capacity, large-scale energy sources, and expanded fiber-optic network. A new international subsea gateway will be built. They celebrated Diwali 🙏🏽 May be the first in the country a Loksabha bill was passed for a state to declare its capital. Also - everyone knows TDP owns & operates most TV channels / media houses in Telugu. Anyway! After all these over the top performances, I hope so called news channels like these will also be answerable if Amaravati doesn’t materialize. An estimated ₹ 64,721 crores is required for the same. The aim is to complete it by 2028. It is their alliance partner in the center too. There shouldn’t be any problem achieving this know?

While Rahul Gandhi makes an emotional appeal to the central government asking them to stop the destruction of environment in Andaman & Nicobar, the Congress government in Telangana is doing just the same! Kasu Brahmananda Reddy park / KBR park is an urban forest spread across 390 kilometres in the heart of the city. KBR has been home for over 600 species of plant life, 140 species of birds and 30 different varieties of butterflies and reptiles. You see peacocks all over the park, many snakes too are spotted regularly. Animals like pangolin, small Indian civet, peacock, jungle cat and porcupines live there. People are allowed only for limited hours in the morning and in the evening & that too only in a small section of the park to protect the environment. At any point of time, when you pass by KBR, you can clearly feel 2-5 degrees temperature drop. In the heart of the city’s Jubilee Hills, it is a beautiful green lung space. KBR Park was declared an Eco sensitive zone on 27 October 2020. Traffic around KBR has been an issue. There was a proposal to build flyovers at KBR to ease the traffic by the urban planning authorities. People protested and the then CM KCR instructed everyone to stand down on the project since it destroys an ecosystem. Today! Revanth Reddy as part of the Strategic Road Development Programme and H-CITI plan is going ahead and constructing 6 flyovers and 6 underpasses. All because he wants to make area around KBR park - “signal free”! Budget is Rs 1,090 crores. No of trees that will be destroyed? 1942 mature trees will be uprooted!!! There is no environmental clearance to the project. Congress Government came up with an intelligent way to bypass this. They split the project into 6 separate projects and now they don’t need any clearances. What’s worse- the Telangana High Court had given a stay order & to bypass that, the shameless government is carrying out demolitions in the dead of the night. They want to finish the destruction before the courts open again! Bulldozers come in the night and work nonstop to create a chance to fatten the purses of contractors. These flyovers and underpasses will destroy the ecosystem completely. But yeah, who cares? Since it is Congress that is destroying the lung space and since it is not Andaman & Nicobar island, since it is Telangana and most importantly people in Hyderabad don’t need OXYGEN, this destruction is absolutely 💯 percent okay 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Video from last night

We are focusing on developing blue and green infrastructure across Kalaburagi city to make it more sustainable and environmentally balanced. As part of this initiative, we will be redeveloping more than 10 public parks across different localities, transforming them into vibrant community spaces with better landscaping, water conservation features, walking tracks, children’s play areas and urban biodiversity zones. Our goal is to create a network of open spaces that not only enhance the city’s beauty but also improve its air quality, groundwater recharge, and overall urban resilience. Here’s a glimpse of how Rajeev Gandhi Park will look once the redevelopment is completed in the coming months.

What’s Inside one of the largest aviaries in India ! Discover a beautiful urban Aviary in the heart of Chennai newly set up by the Tamil Nadu Forest Department to shelter birds which have been rescued or are unable to fly away. Nestled within the lush expanse of Guindy National Park the aviary is a thriving sanctuary with species like Grey and Rosy Pelicans, Painted Storks, Night Herons, White Ibises, and Little Egrets etc. Spanning a massive 70x40x11.67 meters, the structure is crafted from non-toxic, weather-resistant Galvanic MS, ensuring durability and safety. The birds are offered a naturalistic lifestyle with a diet of live fish to encourage instinctive foraging. Clean water is abundant through shallow and deep ponds, refreshed and supported by artificial waterfalls to stimulate natural behavior. Nesting is facilitated and custom built perches are maintained for comfortable roosting. Take a walk and then eat at the popular Zoo cafe. The Telangana government has decided to allocate 200 acres of land for an Artificial Intelligence City and will host the prestigious #AIGlobalSummit in Hyderabad. Chief Minister Mr Revanth Reddy announced that global AI experts will gather at HICC on September 5- 6, 2024. Accompanied by IT and Industries Minister Mr. Sridhar Babu Duddilla, the Chief Minister unveiled the #AIGlobalSummit logo at a conference at JNTU, highlighting the government's commitment to quality engineering education. He expressed pride in hosting the summit, aiming to establish #Hyderabad as a global #AI hub rather than merely competing locally. Themed "Making AI Work for Everyone," the summit will feature keynote addresses and sessions by international AI experts, industry leaders, policy makers, and academics. Discussions will explore AI's potential for societal benefits, safe AI practices, its transformative impact across industries, and its role in driving innovation. Today morning my supplementary question no 1 on Young India Skills University. I'm proud to say that under the able and dynamic leadership of our Hon'ble Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, he is ambitiously setting up the Young India Skills University in Hyderabad, with the objective of providing job opportunities to the students and imparting skill development training according to the requirements of the local industries that are in demand in collaboration with various companies in the PPP model. A total of 17 priority sectors have been identified, and we will be providing training to 2 thousand people in the first year of 2025-26. We will train 20,000 people every year, and the state has allocated Rs. 100 crore on its part for the same and further wants to create a corpus fund of about Rs. 300-500 crores. Now my question to the ministry is if there is any proposal from the central government to adequately fund this Skills University. This will make it a grand success and will lead to the realisation of the goal of a developed nation by 2047. #YoungIndiaSkillUniversity #Telangana #TelanganaRising

A long and winding journey led me to the homeland of the enigmatic slender loris in Karur, a landscape characterized by dry scrub and acacia dominated vegetation. Not many know that these low-lying, interlinked shrubs provide both refuge and a rich foraging ground, sustaining a high density of insects that form the primary diet of this nocturnal primate. Unlike many other primates, the slender loris does not leap across trees, instead, it moves through pathways made by connected branches to forage and avoid predators. In this ecosystem, the structural integrity of vegetation functions as a critical ecological network. Even minor fragmentation in this network can create barriers, isolating individuals and disrupting access.Thus, what appears to be modest scrub vegetation is,in fact, a highly specialized and indispensable habitat matrix. Here the survival is not determined by the size of the forest, but by the continuity of its smallest branches. For Slender loris this connection means life.
