Andrew Marr, "We have to be optimistic going forward" "I think just having a stable government for five, maybe ten years, which has ordinary, down to earth, serious people, talking like the rest of us, in charge of the government, is going to mean a wall of money coming...

Andrew Marr is so eloquent. He was right about what was coming for the Tories some months ago & I think he is right about this too

It could be as he says if we don’t tolerate & amplify racists & mad right wing populists. Challenge them in their ideas - yes, allow them to dominate all media & public discourse - absolutely not.

Could be , if the uk rejoin the EU…otherwise why would I invest in a country on the border to the EU but with no access to it?

"Britain is like a little haven of peace and stability" Ok Marr calm down. The election was only yesterday.

It will be even more so if we rejoin the European Union.

Let the right tear itself to pieces. But please , let them do it without wall to wall press coverage. Remember Robert Buckland. " Bald men fighting over a comb". Farage and Braverman will NEVER rule the country. Ignore them.

Allowed free rein to be himself again, Andrew Marr has been a revelation.

Even QT seemed a lot calmer, without the hatred and shouting we have become used to. Assume nothing else changes then let’s make the most of people being nice, until the Tories have their ‘I’m the biggest bastard’ leadership contest

Suddenly we are back in the 19th Century with the words and sentiment of Edmund Burke lionising the British pragmatic push against continental idealism. “Nothing turns out to be so oppressive and unjust as a feeble government.”

@AngeRussell68 @Keir_Starmer is much more likely to work successfully with leaders across Europe & earn their respect. Under BJ, LT & RS, we became a laughing stock, a nation to poke fun at. Whether or not we eventually seek to rejoin the EU, effective European relationships are vital.

🚨If the US🇺🇸 thinks Venezuela🇻🇪 will be an easy target, it’s in for a BIG SURPRISE- Venezuela’s Former Deputy Foreign Minister for North America ‘As long as we have oil wealth and other mineral wealth, Venezuela is always going to be a target of the United States, of large multinational corporations, etc. I understand the United States has military superiority…but to think that Venezuela is an easy target, that Venezuela is someplace that you can come in and just take over, you’re up for a surprise. I think there’s a long history here of resistance, of morale to resist attacks. I think we have seen also the tragic sort of interventions that the United States has done even in recent years. I mean, you could go back to Vietnam and remember how tragic that was. But even Afghanistan, Iraq, all these more recent interventions have shown that if you don’t have the support of local populations, if there isn’t some sort of other arrangement, you’re not going to be successful. I mean, after 20 years of the disaster they caused in Afghanistan, they had to leave without accomplishing anything. That’s horrible for our people in the sense that, of course, if something like that comes to happen, and I really wish that it doesn’t come to happen — it’s going to be hurtful for the Venezuelan people. But I think they have to think twice about what really is at stake and how this is going to affect the stability of the United States. We’re not hundreds or thousands of miles away. We’re really close to the United States. And it could have a terrible effect for its economy, even for its own base. I mean, if you look at the base that supports President Trump right now, a lot of the criticism that is coming is precisely from its own base, who were promised that there would be no more forever wars.’ -Carlos Ron on the latest episode of Going Underground FULL INTERVIEW BELOW IN THE REPLIES👇

David Friedberg Explains the Hidden Collapse Beneath Record Stock Prices 🔥🪙 “Instead of trading it in US dollars, what if you just look at the US stock market, the total value, in ounces of gold?” “The stock market's up in dollar-denominated terms, but if you look at the stock market relative to gold, it's actually down.” “In a democracy, like we have for the past 250 years, without adequate constitutional constraints, it has always been the case that over time government spending goes up.” “And this is because in a democracy, people ask for their government to do more every year, and as they ask for their government to do more every year, the government agents who are elected say, ‘Okay, here you go,’ and they spend more.” “And eventually, when the borrowing capacity gets unlocked, which is what happened in the United States when we went off the gold standard, you borrow like crazy, you print money to fund those borrowing costs, but eventually the bill comes due.” “And in the United States, the bill is coming due.” “But I just want to tie it back to Minnesota, Donald Trump, and socialism.” “I think it's important for us to just highlight that if you own assets like we do, the four of us, we own stocks, we own real estate, we own other assets.” “As the dollar devalues and everything inflates in value, our asset prices go up and we get wealthier, and wealthier, and wealthier.” “The majority of Americans do not own assets. They are net asset negative.” “As a result, they live off of income and they do not benefit from the de-dollarization like asset holders do.” “And I fundamentally believe that much of the civil unrest and ultimately the divide in this country is driven by the fact that de-dollarization, because of excess government spending, ultimately leads a majority of people in this country to feeling oppressed and left behind because they're seeing a few people in the country accelerate their net worth, like all of us here, and there's no way for them to catch up because they don't actually own assets.”
