It was stupid for @realDonaldTrump to say it. @AndrewYang is stupid for supporting it.

The probability of Republicans maintaining control of the house is slim to none. Therefore all the mumbo jumbo over the five grand doesn't mean a damn thing

Wow...JD Vance 2028? This guy's messaging is flawless. Just listen. A reporter pressed him on how Americans should react to tariffs if they "raise prices" - Vance flips it back perfectly. "What I say to the American people is, look: the president ran on this, and he said very clearly that we're done being the piggy bank of the entire world." "For 40 years in the same way that our European friends, I think, have neglected international security, for 40 years a lot of our friends all over the world have used America as a piggy bank... have used us to absorb all of their excess economic production." "What does that mean for Americans? For Americans, that's meant manufacturing jobs declining, that's meant middle class wages going down, that's meant whole towns that have been hollowed out." "Empty factories - and that means an America that is less safe, because our manufacturing isn't as powerful now as it was 30 years ago." "I've got all these brave Americans in front of me and a few behind me too. We've got to send, if God forbid, we have to send Americans to war, we want them to have weapons, the best weapons in the world that are manufactured in America and not in China." "The way you do that is to rebuild the American manufacturing sector. The days of America being the piggy bank of the world... the days of closed factories, the days of people not being able to get a middle class job in this country, they're over." "And yes, that means we're gonna have to fight back even against some of our friends and their unfair economic practices. But the long term consequence of this is gonna be higher wages, more manufacturing, and more economic security for the American people." JD Vance - MASTERCLASS.

VP VANCE PREDICTED: PEOPLE ARE GOING TO GET ANGRY, AND RIGHTFULLY SO "This stuff we can and we should prosecute, and I'm just telling you, this is going to be a real problem, and the people are going to get really pissed at Senate Republicans if we don't have the U.S. attorneys on the ground to actually achieve justice. People are going to get angry, and rightfully so." If you want justice, you've got to empower the President of the United States to actually appoint the officers of justice all over the country. The Democrats are stalling that, and we're going to wake up in a couple of years, if we don't have more U.S. attorneys approved, if we don't have more judges approved, we're going to wake up in a couple of years and realize that we've done a lot of great work at the Trump administration, but justice is not being meted out as it should be because we don't have the people on the ground. That is a big problem, and I know that's somewhat unrelated to Arctic Frost, but it actually is related to Arctic Frost, because you cannot get the justice for the people who are targeted by the Biden administration unless we've got good people, especially in these U.S. attorneys offices, and that's something we've got to pay attention to over the next year. Spying on President Trump, prosecuting him, investigating senators, congressmen, and congressmen who are just aligned with the President of the United States some of this stuff is going to get covered by statute of limitations, but some of this stuff we can and we should prosecute, and I'm just telling you, this is going to be a real problem, and the people who watch your show are going to get really pissed at Senate Republicans, excuse my language, if we don't have the U.S. attorneys on the ground to actually achieve justice, people are going to get angry, and rightfully so. Friedberg’s Ideal Immigration Test: Worker or Welfare? (Or Makers vs Takers) “I'm all about discerning immigration, not on the lines of some cultural definition, but really around that simple framing of are you going to get social support services or are you going to work? Going back to my makers vs takers point, if the primary motivation for an individual to come to this country is to be given benefits, to be given payments, to be given social services, to be given support, I think that that person should be denied immigration. If the primary motivation for the individual to come to the United States is to work to progress themselves, to become a maker, to create things, to work in such a way that they can generate income, save capital, buy things, advance their family's position because they are denied those rights due to the tyranny of the place that they're coming from, then they should be granted immigration status to come to this country and contribute. Because at the end of the day, what people may not like to hear, which is the truth, is that every single one of those people is actually net positive in growing our economy. And everyone thinks it's a zero-sum game with respect to jobs in the United States, and we shouldn't let people into this country that create jobs. But the fundamental truth is that anyone that is productive, meaning they create more value than they take in, grows the economy and more jobs get created, and overall, we all benefit from having those individuals here in this country. And by the way, if you are going to work, you are going to culturally assimilate, because that is what the United States is based on, which is productivity, work hard, create things, and have individual agency, have the ability to progress yourself in this world, in this society. And if you take advantage of that opportunity, you're going to love the American ideals that this country was founded upon.”

‼️JUST NOW — powerful brief remarks by the leaders of Ukraine, the UK, France, and Germany in London: IN SHORT: Merz: “The coming days could be decisive for all of us. The destiny of this country is the destiny of Europe. Nobody should doubt our support for Ukraine. And this is what we are firmly standing behind. I'm skeptical about some of the details which we are seeing in the documents coming from the U.S. side.” Macron: "I think we have a lot of cards in our hands." Zelenskyy: "Our team came back, and I think that they will brief us about the last talks with Americans and after talks of Americans with Russians." Starmer: "If there's to be a ceasefire, it needs to be a just and lasting ceasefire. Matters about Ukraine are for Ukraine." FULL STATEMENTS: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer: "But the principles remain, the principles that we've operated on for a very, very long time, which is that we stand with Ukraine, and if there's to be a ceasefire, it needs to be a just and lasting ceasefire. And that's why it's so important, that we repeatedly set out the principle forward that matters about Ukraine are for Ukraine. And we stand here to support you in the conflict and support you in the negotiations and make sure that this is a just and lasting settlement if we can get that far. You're very welcome for our discussions". President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy: "Thank you very much, Kir. Thank you for organizing this meeting. Thank you, friends, Emmanuel and Friedrich, and thank you for our joint meeting. I think that it is very important now to organize such a meeting and discuss very sensitive issues regarding these talks that we had, in the United States and between us. Our team came back, and I think that they will brief us about the last talks with Americans and after talks of Americans with Russians. I think there are lot of what we have to discuss and speak about. So there are a lot of things which are very important for today. I think, unity between Europe and Ukraine, and also unity between Europe, Ukraine, and the U.S. There are some things which we can't manage without Americans, things which we can't manage without Europe, and that's why we need to make some important decisions". President of France Emmanuel Macron: "And thank you Volodymyr for being with us. You are always welcome. In France, I think we all support Ukraine, and we all support peace. And peace negotiations to have sustainable, robust peace. And I think we have a lot of cards in our hands. The financing and the quality of equipments and training programs to Ukraine, the fact that Ukraine is resisting in this war, and the fact that the Russian economy is starting to suffer, especially after our latest sanctions and the US sanctions. And now I think the main issue is the convergence between our common positions, Europeans and Ukrainians, and the U.S. to finalize these, peace negotiations and re-engage in a new phase in the best possible conditions for Ukraine, for the Europeans, and for our collective security". Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz: "I highly appreciate that we are having the opportunity to see you, Volodymyr, together with Emmanuel, and talking about the upcoming days, because this could be a decisive time for all of us. We are trying to continue our support for Ukraine, as you know. On the other hand, we are seeing these talks and negotiations in Moscow and in the U.S. I'm looking forward to hear from you what the outcome of these talks might be. And we are still and remain strongly behind Ukraine and giving support to your country, because we all know that the destiny of this country is the destiny of Europe. So that's the reason why we are here, trying to figure out what we can do. And nobody should doubt on our support for Ukraine. And this is what we are firmly standing behind. And the outcome is open. I'm skeptical about some of the details which we are seeing in the documents coming from the U.S. side, but we have to talk about that. That's why we are here".
