The president of South Africa said he will not tolerate the violent xenophobic movement that are terrorizing Africans in this country. Words is powerful, but we need to see action.. starting with these criminals and thugs. They are murderers.. and they should be indicted for war crimes. And if the president cannot charge these criminals and animals, African countries should do so.. the ICC should step in. Enough is enough.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer says he will not be "diverted or deflected" from acting in what he says is the "best national interest" following critical remarks made about him by US President Donald Trump to the BBC. The PM once again said he stood by his decision not to drag the UK into the Iran war, which began in late February. Earlier Trump spoke to the BBC about his relationship with the prime minister, saying the UK and other allies should have given the US more support over Iran. He also said Starmer could only "recover" politically if he changed course on immigration and "opened the North Sea". "If he doesn't, I don't think he has a chance," Trump said. Following Trump's remarks, Starmer said: "I'm here to serve the British people always, to have their interests and to make sure that I make the right decisions for them."

Speaking with Victoria Derbyshire on BBC Newsnight, I expressed by deep concern that this Labour government is considering releasing rapists, paedophiles and grooming gang perpetrators early from Prison, without them serving their full sentences. Many victims and survivors of some of the most horrendous sexual crimes have received letters from the government informing them that their perpetrators may be released from prison early. Just the possibility of it happening is already having a hugely damaging impact on those victims who have already suffered far too much. Trust in the state is being further eroded. Shame on this Labour government for even considering it. It must not happen. The government must reverse their decision.

Since then, Greg Abbott has put countless women's lives and fertility at risk because he decided we should be forced to carry sick babies that will not live. 23 years ago, I made the most difficult choice of my life. But it was in making that choice that I found my own strength. When I’m governor, I will make sure that Texas women have the right to make their own choices, and be able to do so with privacy and dignity.
