Andy Burnham is not serious about solving the housing crisis. Getting homes built means cutting red tape, cutting costs and backing the builders. Only the Conservatives have a plan to do that.

14 years of “We’ve got a plan” but no actual action. Take responsibility for the utter state you left the country in. Sit down and let others get on with it. The reason it’s hard to do anything now is due the complete mess you made while in government.

We had a housing crisis in Cornwall back in 2010. We still have one now, James. Forgive my cynicism here, but having seen the lengths developers will go to to avoid their obligations to communities, I’m not convinced, to say the least.
