His whole shtick is being a smiley friendly northerner which disarms you while he pursues the same garbage policies of his predecessor. He thinks if he behaves like a friendly people pleaser strumming the guitar for Ukrainian soldiers, tells us how much tea he drinks and what his preferred Greggs order is, we will ignore the fact that no one voted for him to be PM, and he was essentially coronated by the Parliamentary Labour Party that was scrambling to get rid of the disaster class that is Keir Starmer. Once he’s no longer able to run away from all the big issues at the upcoming budget, he’ll be exposed as just another Labour hack that plans to splurge on benefits and raise your taxes so he can send the money to Angola. Or perhaps on renovations and upgrades for a No 10 North that never should’ve existed in the first place and was largely just a strategy to reignite the North-South divide and kiss up to the North for votes. The whole thing is effectively just a campaign tool for him. I agree with Lizzie that he is a weak leader but they’re the most dangerous. The ones that when you give them power are most likely to crush you and unfortunately our country has been crushed by a series of weak people who wielded power in reckless and despicable ways.

Farage is still going with the same spin of copying Australia who towed Indonesian ships and boats back to Indonesia suggesting towing channel rubber dinghies back to France suggesting it is the same thing. Indonesian migrants couldn't claim asylum in the Indian Ocean and Australia only towed them back to Indonesian waters. He said this on his show the other night. Not quite what you'd expect from somebody boasting about being the next PM.
