Sunny Hostin and Kara Swisher cat fight over the press confronting Trump of criticizing reporters: SUNNY HOSTIN: But I also take a bit of umbrage at the other reporters there because - By the way, the other reporters weren't smiling. The men weren't smiling. He didn't mention that. But I do feel that when you -- when one of your colleagues is attacked in that way, a follow-up question should have been or a statement, someone in the room, maybe one of the men should have said, 'sir, you should not speak to her that way.' I would have liked to have seen that. [Applause] KARA SWISHER: I'm going to disagree with you because I think the job of reporters is not to react to that kind of nonsense. Right? The story -- the whole thing is when you're a reporter, the story shouldn't be about you. And when it is, it's a mistake. HOSTIN: That is true. SARA HAINES: When you're a good reporter. SWISHER: When you're a good reporter. {laughter] Well yeah, that's fair. But it's really hard. I mean, one of the things, I know Kaitlan really well. He attacks Maggie Haberman, a whole bunch of people I know really well. And to react is the really -- is where you lose in that game because with these people everything -- every accusation is a confession, so what he is saying is about him and not about her. And I thought she handled it well. She has to be absolutely -- she made a joke about Alabama which is fantastic. But the minute you say something, you get dragged into it in a way that he benefits and you don't. HOSTIN: What about the other reporters, do you think that maybe they should have said - SWISHER: No, nobody should say anything. HOSTIN: Because I think this administration is so aberrant, I think they are so - it's just such an abnormal situation. I don't know that you play by the rules that we used to play by. SWISHER: Because that becomes the story then, the fight between him and her. HOSITN: Although, it's already the story. SWISHER: No, it's not because she then asked a question. By the way, what was really interesting is she hadn't asked a question. HOSTIN: She had not. SWISHER: But she then got in a question in about the slush fund and then he answered in a very different way from Todd Blanche. She got what she needed which was the news. She got the news.

This chick is doing her best to explain an important phenomenon to men. Unfortunately she is using 2020s chick-speak about ā€˜boundaries’ and ā€˜respecting yourself’ and other such buzzwords, which make the message nigh incomprehensible. So here is how I would put it to you, as a man: āž”ļø No girl wants to be with a dude who is going to make pleasing her his life mission. The behavior screams ā€˜simp’ and makes her feel like you are beneath her, which makes her not want you. No chick wants to be with a man who is beneath her. āž”ļø No girl wants to be with a dude who will let her run all over him in conversation, talking about things that he doesn’t want to hear about, controlling the flow of the conversation. That screams ā€˜weak dude’, who is either afraid to take control or does not know how. What should you do instead? āœ… If you are hooking up with a girl and she says, ā€œI’m not looking for a relationship right now,ā€ you say, ā€œAWESOME. ME TOO.ā€ And now all of a sudden she is confused and beguiled because you are not chasing her for the relationship. Why aren’t you chasing her for the relationship? Do you not WANT her? It will drive her crazy, she will start thinking about it over and over again, and she will desperately work to try to get you to want the relationship with her. If you keep just banging her while acting like you don’t care, eventually she will want the relationship with you so bad herself it will drive her crazy. āœ… If you are talking to a girl and she is talking about some other dude she was dating, then unless you are actually curious about that (and if she is a girl you are sleeping with, it is worth getting to know some about her prior relationships… you will learn her behavior patterns, why she broke up with exes, plus any obvious red flags that can let you hit the eject button before you get in too deep), all you have to say to get off that topic is, ā€œYeah, that’s cool and all,ā€ and act really bored and start looking around. (If she can’t take a hint then you just tell her, ā€œDon’t you have a girlfriend or someone you can tell this to?ā€) The basic frame is ā€œI’M JUST HERE TO BANG YOU AND HAVE FUN.ā€ It doesn’t matter if you secretly want marriage with her and 15 babies. You want to let HER chase the relationship and fall into YOUR frame. If she starts going off on conversation you don’t want to hear about, act bored or change the topic. If she starts trying to say she doesn’t want a relationship, get out ahead of that frame and own it yourself (ā€œMe neither, we’re in accordā€). Women want your attention. Women who are sleeping with you IN PARTICULAR want it. If she feels she is losing your attention, that your interest in or commitment to her is waning, it will cause her to go nuts trying to get it back. And, in so doing, she becomes more invested, and falls in love. The peculiar ways of women!

What is it like to grow up in one of the most talked about families in the world? Well, today’s guest is Ivanka Trump - someone who’s lived much of her life in the public eye, from childhood through business, and all the way to the White House. From a young age, her life was anything but normal. She grew up surrounded by media attention and moments that most people could never relate to. At just nine years old, she was dealing with reporters outside her school during her parents’ divorce - an experience she says shaped how she saw trust and the world around her. As she got older, that pressure didn’t go away. She built a career in real estate before stepping into government and working at the highest level during one of the most intense political periods in recent history. I found myself coming back to something we discussed around how living under that kind of scrutiny forces you to get really clear on who you are, because if you don’t, the world will define it for you. And a lot of this conversation comes back to that idea. Being intentional with your time and your decisions, and even what you allow into your mind, because without that, it’s very easy to get pulled in a direction that isn’t really yours. I wanted to know: - How do you grow up under constant public scrutiny? - What does pressure actually do to a person over time? - How do you know who to trust when you’re in the spotlight? - What is power really like behind closed doors? There’s a moment where she reflects on how, for a long time, protecting herself meant building walls and not trusting people, but over time she realised those same walls can stop you from having real connection. Let me know your thoughts after watching this one.

šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø Another day. Another Labour MP. Another CAR CRASH interview. This time it was Financial Secretary to the Treasury James Murray on LBC, who appeared to know next to nothing about the Treasury’s own finances, much to Nick Ferrari’s mounting bemusement. Murray was busy boasting about removing VAT from energy bills to ā€œhelp families this winterā€. Nick asked the most basic question imaginable: how much will that cost the Treasury? Murray hadn’t a clue. Nick tried again. And again. Getting more exasperated with every attempt. Ferrari: ā€œThere must be a ballpark figure as to how much this is going to cost?ā€ Murray: ā€œYes, but I haven’t got that figure in front of me.ā€ Ferrari: ā€œHang on. You’re the Financial Secretary to the Treasury and you don’t know how much it’s going to cost you?ā€ Murray: ā€œI haven’t got the figure in front of me right now, Nick.ā€ Ferrari: ā€œWhy not? Don’t you think it’s a fairly relevant figure, Secretary?ā€ Nick pointed out that Murray and his colleagues must have sat around and come up with the plan, and the cost, so he should obviously know the answer. Murray just kept repeating the same line: he didn’t have the figure. Nick finally gave up: ā€œWell I’ve asked four times and you haven’t answered. I find that extraordinary.ā€ The whole interview was like that. Question after question on a range of subjects. No answers. Just waffle. I don’t know why these people bother going on air. Pathetic.

Bill Maher can't understand why Lindsay Clancy has so many "fans" outside the courthouse after she killed her three kids. He says it's "a little like Luigi." He asks an MSNBC contributor to explain why women are rallying behind her. Then he shares his own theory. BILL MAHER: ā€œI just want to ask — this woman Lindsay Clancy, she killed her three children because she had postpartum depression. What I learned is that this is a very prevalent thing. It’s very real. I absolutely don’t think she knew what she was doing. I get that. What I don’t get is why does she have fans? There are so many women now who are, like, outside the courthouse. It’s a little like Luigi. I understand the frustration. Don’t understand why the fans. And is it just because this has been a cause cĆ©lĆØbre that has gone under the radar for so long?ā€ MOLLY JONG-FAST: ā€œSo my guess is that postpartum psychosis, which is what she had, is very real. I mean, it’s not so common, but it happens. And I think that a lot of women — this has sort of brought up postpartum psychosis as a topic. ā€œThe reporting on this story is horrific. Like, she keeps putting herself in mental institutions. She goes to McLean. She’s a labor and delivery nurse. So if there ever were a person who knows about postpartum care, it would be her. In the reporting, it says she doesn’t want to report how bad her symptoms are because she’s worried she’s going to lose her kids. It is one of the worst stories ever. And in my mind — you know, she’s paralyzed now. And so she’s in this wheelchair. I’m not sure that the courts are the answer to a problem like that.ā€ MAHER: ā€œOkay, but if we move away from just this extreme version... not a lot of women go to the length of killing their kid, but a lot of them are not afraid to say, ā€˜I don’t like being a mom.’ They put up TikToks just talking about it, and they seem to be just frustrated with what... mothers just expected was going to happen when you’re having a kid.ā€
