A non Kannada speaker created ruckus with public abusing them and asking them to goto Pakistan saying this is India. In return Kannadigas asked her to get lost from Bengaluru. This is Karnataka and you should speak Kannada.

A Northeast Indian man, Arjun Khatri, who has been living in Bengaluru for 20 years, has a serious complaint: “Bengaluru people don’t let us learn Kannada.” We’ve been saying this from the beginning: The moment someone from outside the state gets off the bus or train, speak to them in Kannada. Insist on using Kannada at shops and establishments. There are lakhs of non-Kannadigas who love Karnataka and happily speak Kannada. Just converse with them in Kannada. Karnataka doesn’t need any “activists” or fighters. Those so-called activists don’t teach anyone Kannada; they only bully people. #Bengaluru #Kannada

Migrants from Tibet who settled in Karnataka have learnt Kannada. They say "If you drink Kaveri water then you will learn Kannada". What's stopping Indians to learn the local language? #Bengaluru

“If you don’t know Kannada, don’t come to Bengaluru” is being spread by cowards who don’t have the guts to ask the Urdu-speaking people living right here to speak in Kannada. True Kannadigas are compassionate by nature. Most of those who are “fighting” in the name of Kannada are neither originally from Bengaluru, nor, in some cases, even from Karnataka. Bengaluru is witnessing rising language vigilantism. An auto driver causes an accident & speaks only in Kannada. Unemployed youth groups barge into shops, malls & apartments, threatening “Put Kannada board”. Why does ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ exist? Police remain mute spectators, damaging the city’s reputation. This must stop. #Bengaluru #Karnataka

Kalaburagi is in Karnataka, not Pakistan! Why doesn’t C.M. Ibrahim, who speaks beautiful long Kannada when he wants, ever speak in Kannada? Have these vote-chasers suddenly lost their tongues on this issue? Or do the migrant Olatas who think Karnataka only Bengaluru even know that Kalaburagi district exists? #Kannada #Kalaburagi
