ANIMATION 23 YEARS AGO!

One of the most underrated fights in the whole series, the amount of tactics, jutsus used in this was crazy. Tobirama was doing Genjutsus for crying out loud. This fight was fucking nuts and one of my favorite in the whole series. We got Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, Genjutsu, Fuinjutsu (sealings) this fight had EVERYTHING DOG. Stop disrespecting Lord 3rd, he was the epitome of the Will of Fire and was the reason the Leaf was so strong. He trained the masters of Naruto and Sasuke, they don’t become op without learning from his students

They cooked with animation & Hiruzen Cooked Hashirama, Tobirama & orochimaru

Better sound effects than modern one piece

The magic in Naruto is direction. unlike this.

Crazy how unwatchable boruto is compared to this. Honestly a stain on the series

To think hiruzen defeated edo hashirama and tobirama(although not perfect) and orochimaru alone in a surprise attack at this age Is sick

Naruto had its moments, this and gaara vs lee stand out but most of that series feels like a slideshow it’s honestly pretty tough in retrospect

It makes it more funny how when they first introduced edo tensei they didnt add the crack in the bodies nor make their eyes inverted

It was NEVER the same after this. No other fight in Naruto or Shippuuden topped this animation. Second place goes to Kakashi vs. Obito.

Animation was top tier BUT Sarutobi was getting busy in this brawl

It was better honestly. It was pure talent, instead of a bunch of crazy computer effects.

Naruto went from peak to slideshow episode to episode. Still one of the best series of all time

it will never be second to any modern anime. this is HAND DRAWN; effort, time and emotion and sweat has been put into this. not a sign of naruto and just this scene alone is one of many iconic scenes in this anime.

The show is called Naruto, but his fights never, not once, entertained as much as the supporting cast. The battle against Pain? Sure. But it doesn’t even make the top 5 in my opinion. Loved Naruto though. Favourite anime OAT.

The scale power for Naruto was the most realistic and reasonable than Shippuden, on Shippuden everything blowing up, jutsus lost all sense and they just summoned just because... Naruto much better than Shippuden with no clues 🙂‍↔️

I really love the style of animation the Naruto fights have, Pain vs nine tails even tho people finda it goofy but I liked it
