#anipoke The moment Ash's Charizard started trusting him.

This is why Ash is unique.

I always cry during this scene, it's pure nostalgia.

And also giving a reason why Ash is unique and his role in the anime is irremplazable.

One of the best episode fr

I agree

That Charizard was so ungrateful lmao. Shoulda left his ass in the rain 🤣🤣🤣

Was it ever explained why Charmander started disobeying Ash immediately after evolving into Charmeleon? I know about the theory that it was because he didn’t really earn some of his badges. But was that ever confirmed to be true? And if so, why only Charizard?

I still say if they added a few episodes of him with Charmeleon going from loyal to disobedient? this would’ve been an even better character arc

I remember being a kid when this episode aired and when Charizard finally started listening/trusting Ash, I got so excited. Since then, Charizard remained my favourite Pokemon of all time. Hasn't changed since that day.

Charizard my favorite Both genders

"This kid saved me from dying, and all I've done is act like a colossal jerk towards him. heck, I even cost him the Pokémon League championship! Maybe I should start going easy on the little guy."

this was so important to me as a kid, i couldn’t stop talking about it

My guess is not only it was going through a phase like young teenagers do, but it most likely had trust issues because of how his old owner abandon him. He wanted to be strong yet afraid to be abandon again.

🥰OG Pokémon is CINEMA <3 .

Ash first fire type First pokemon that was abandoned and he raised His original Ace And a trusted friend. I just wished Ash used him against Leon's Charizard since Ash Charizard goal was to be the strongest Charizard in the world

@CM_Casanas.

And the music that makes ppl cry

Still, me and EVERYONE I knew were all burning with rage when his laziness and disobedience instantly knocked him out of the Indigo League. It took us all a long time before we liked him…

My charmeleon & wartortle were 10 levels over the cap in my current leafgreen play through and STILL obeyed my every command 😊 (but wartortle was a bit more troublesome than charmeleon)

You mean the moment Charizard realized he’s been an asshole

Which episode is this one?

The episode is called Charizard Chills.

Because he remembered his (Charizard) past and evolved too quickly. #Pokemon #Charizard #Digimon #MetalGreymon

My favorite episode of the entire Pokémon anime, and this is is one of the greatest moments in its entirety. 😎

Bro this was by far one of the best moments in the anime like this really was the beginning of a beautiful friendship between Charizard and Ash

More than trusting he was quiting his jerk attitude. He already knew Ash was a good guy, but ever since he evolved into Charmeleon he got into the mood "hey I'm strong now, I do not need to obey anyone"

@districtlawyer

Very nice moment. Thank you for the video Dalua. :-)

I don't understand how his Charizard hated him when he literally save the mf from dying as a charmander wtf that made no sense

It’s too much 🥹

I thought that this whole arc of Charizard having a teenager crisis was Annoying as hell and very unecessary

Can you blame Charizard for what happened with his former trainer? Ash is the most kind hearted trainer out there and he will do whatever it takes to save them all, even if it costs his life which that happened a lot.

Something that never made sense to me is why chraizard even acted like that, mind you ash saved his life as a charmander

Mannn f that dude… he cost Ash the match against Ritchie and I’m never forgetting that lol. Also made him look stupid vs Mewtwo 🤣🤣🤣

@grok Que capitulo y temporada es este capítulo?

It wasn’t this day?
