Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar on Monday directed officials to identify a suitable site and arrange a well-equipped building to house over 20 lakh books collected by Padma Shri awardee M Ankegowda Meeting CM at Vidhana Soudha, Ankegowda sought support for preserving the collection. He said library, maintained by Ankegowda Knowledge Foundation in Mandya's Pandavapura, is among the country's largest personal collections. Ankegowda also showcased rare coins and postage stamps.
