Are there mutations?

I’m curious: has anyone built a vanilla version of this (without a framework) and 1) how easy was that to do and 2) was it a better or worse user experience?

There are a few vanilla versions (without a framework) folks have built, but quality has been a little varied. Architecturally some use Custom Elements, others just ESM + templates etc. Will be keeping an eye out for a version good enough to eval 2) :)

Astro version is waay outdated. (v1 😞) Not a good example.
