The accident took place while elephants were being bathed in the Cauvery River at the Dubare camp. During the bathing session, an elephant named Kanjan allegedly attacked another elephant, Marthanda. Two persons are reported dead following a road accident at Lapaz, directly in front of the Papaye Fast Foods - Lapaz Branch. Eyewitnesses say the driver of a black vehicle was allegedly using a mobile phone and failed to observe a red traffic signal before crashing into another vehicle. Our gentle bull has the kindest nature, and has become an important role model to all. Team reaches there immediately and guide the elephants back to forest. Many such incidents are checked every night by our vigil teams. Some gets captured in a nice way. Like this one.
