TOW TRUCK VS ENTITLED DRIVER Tow truck driver walks up to a guy sitting in a handicap spot with NO placard. Tow truck: “Do you have a handicap placard?” Guy: “Can I help you with something?” Tow truck driver explains the car is on his tow list — no placard, parked in a handicap spot. Guy again: “Can I help you with something?” This goes on for minutes. Then the guy drops this gem: “You already told my other car.” Refuses to move. Just sat there. Zero shame. This is why people can’t stand entitled drivers who think the rules don’t apply to them. This is what an inconsiderate, irritant person does.

You have the right to choose you can tow your vehicle, provided you are not in the MTO tow zone area (GTA) or directed by police. If the tow operator demands cash, that is a red flag. You are allowed to pay by credit card and get a receipt. Know your rights, be safe, be smart. ^ks

This tow truck driver is attempting to repossess a car and the owner and his friends are refusing to get off the car and in fact, they actually use a Friends truck to block the tow truck driver into the driveway.. All these cars belonged to Immigrants and American Citizens that were detained by ICE in Minnesota and were left abandoned with their windows broken out and some still running. A tow truck Company called Leo’s decided to tow them to their lot & not charge the families a dime!

This tow truck driver goes off on these kids. They ran out of gas on the side of the road and a firemen noticed them so he stopped and he gave them some gas. When they went to start the car, the battery was dead. Couldn’t figure out the reason. The firefighter radioed the sheriff. The sheriff then called this tow truck driver. The kids thought the Sheriff was coming. The tow truck driver arrives. Mind you, he got the call at 5:40 AM. The kid tells him they can’t pay for a tow and don’t need one and they can’t pay for a jump either, which they need. He goes ballistic. Well, the tow truck driver forgot his jumper cables. Didn’t pack them. 🤯 You can hear him screaming and cussing at the kid. Said he only got one hour of sleep. Eventually a passerby stopped and jumped their battery and they went on their way. A couple of things, one, for the youngsters, or anyone for that matter, never travel without jumper cables. You never know when you will need them. Two, what kind of tow truck driver doesn’t have jumper cables? 🤯 The tow truck driver talking to them like that is unacceptable. Sure he wasn’t going to get paid. I get it. This is the job you signed up for, being awakened at all hours of the night. Once he knew there was no money he had two choices, leave and go back home or stay and help. He didn’t have cables himself so just leave. Get mad at the Sheriff! 💯 Would you have been upset like that if you were the tow truck driver? Do you carry jumper cables in your car? Have you ever been stranded and needed help?

I spoke to Joanne today who says her car is paid off, paid her registration & doesn’t get why her car was targeted. Note: Specialty Towing didn’t return my call/email for this story. But City Attorney David Chiu did suspend the company this year for illegal towing calling them “unscrupulous”. Joanne says the tow truck also chased them for several blocks once they were able to escape! More on my story shortly…heading to the studio to anchor the news, brb… #SanFrancisco

The driver gets out and starts rummaging through her car looking in the center console, the glove box, and under her seats . Because she gets this on video she shows the police and they go to his office to handle business . Apparently it’s rare to catch a tow truck operators doing this, but it seems to happen a lot. She just happened to be right place right time .
