Providing APCs to DPOs while ordinary police constables are being killed fighting in the open shows a serious failure in security priorities. Defensive vehicles alone won’t solve KP’s security crisis. Invest in the personnel who are actually fighting on the ground: better protective equipment, modern surveillance and reconnaissance systems, thermal imaging, combat drones and properly maintained service weapons. Stop treating our police jawans as expendable. Give the men on the front lines the equipment, protection and support they need to survive and fight effectively.
