Fight Against Evil 3 东北警察故事3 [2026] Directed By: Yang Bingjia Very different from the previous two (Comedy) but this one is totally fun with the current trend in Chinese action films of adding a music montage during a fight scene, but Du Xiaohui who works with Qin Pengfei has been doing his thing as an action director pairing up with Li Xiangyang as choreographer. The Japanese influence in choreography has been amazing to see in Chinese action cinema adding their own flare, you even see a shoutout to Hydra towards the end of this scene.

This amazing action-packed film was a crowd pleaser over at BIG BAD FILM FEST and with that showing hopefully we get a release here in the West. This scene is only a taste of what's in store in this film. Shot over a period of 10 days and Koichi coming in a few days after it started shooting is total madness.

Teens behind 12 random shootings across Austin, Texas. Two juveniles in custody. Shootings began around 4 PM on Saturday, May 16, and continued through approximately 9 AM Sunday, May 17. These were largely drive by or random gunfire directed at homes, apartment buildings, and two fire stations. Four people shot. One victim was critically injured and received blood at the scene before transport to a trauma center and is now reported in stable condition. The other three sustained minor injuries. No fatalities reported. A 15 and 17 year old, both described as young Hispanic males are in custody. The 17 year old had an active warrant for gun theft. A 3rd suspect is still at large.

Ben Stiller directed the entire film while also acting as a director in it — honestly, it looks like he needed a safe word. Tropic Thunder was directed by Ben Stiller while he was also acting in it as Tugg Speedman, a fictional action star who is himself directing a film within the story. This layered setup created real confusion on set, since Stiller was simultaneously the character calling “cut” and the actual director making production decisions. Because of that overlap, the crew often couldn’t tell whether “cut” meant the scene was over or if Stiller was speaking as Tugg Speedman. Steve Coogan, who played producer Damien Cockburn, later said the team eventually stopped using the word altogether and switched to a longer, multi-part phrase just to avoid constant mix-ups.

The Bodyguard 保镖 [2024] Directed By: Qin Pengfei Yang Xing (Na Na AKA Lollipop Girl) introduction in this scene solidifies that she was going to be that badass villain in this film. Not surprising coming from one of the Queens of Chinese Action DTV films. With Qu Jingjing climbing up the ranks as well in the action cinema space for a while and being in Qin Pengfei films. Hopefully she does more of this caliber and also got to work again with Yang Xing in The Raid 2025.

Director Larry praising JUN!! 🥺❤️‍🔥 👤 before working with him on this film, I only knew him from his success in another field, since he’s an idol who sings and dances, I tot he was mainly experienced on stage 👤 I didn’t expect him to be so passionate abt action scenes, once he got to the set, the way he immersed himself in filming was so endearing, so dedicated and above all, extremely professional 👤 especially his action scenes that were personally recognized by Jackie Chan, when it comes to his potential and future as a young action actor, this has also been acknowledged by Jackie himself 👤 among the new generation of action actors recognised by JC, Jun will definitely stand out as one of the best

My son found another movie my Dad was in. This one is called FINAL EXAM(1981) directed by Jimmy Huston and shot at Earl Owensby Studios. Next time I’m at his house I’ll take a pic of that Roy Orbison shirt he’s wearing because it’s been hanging on the wall since I was a kid. He got it while filming LIVING LEGEND: The King of Rock n Roll(1980) which Orbsion was doing the soundtrack for and he said they were shooting outside one day down below the studios in this pasture and it was a long, long walk back up the hill so Roy offered him a ride and gave him the tshirt before he got out.

The Sin Trade 追恶 [2026] Directed By: Cheng Siyi Finally caught up to this. Part of the new school of Action directors in Mainland China, Cheng Siyi has been making a name of for himself over the past few years. Especially with his 2024 film "Desperado". So far, this is his best output, since he got a fellow director and action choreographer to do the action direction for this film. And when you get a combo like that you sure are going to get a banger. Plenty of action in this film about human trafficking and with the case with Chinese DTV that's usually one of the themes they go with on thier output. Drugs, Human trafficking or Sniper Films, lol. This is currently streaming the West and East on iQIYI. This scene is edited BTW to cut out the drama.

Giridhar says, "...We conducted a raid on a specific farmhouse where we found that one person was using a weapon. When we entered the farmhouse, our officers heard some sounds. They immediately rushed to the scene and captured one person who was holding a pistol. Another person also had some empty rounds. Officers took all of them, 11 people, into custody immediately. They conducted a drug test on them and 5 of them tested positive. We conducted all the procedural activities. They were taken to hospital for blood sample test. One person, in addition to the 5 people, tested positive. So, a total of 6 people were found positive. We handed them over to local Police, they will take further steps...While conducting test, we gathered information and came to know that one person is an ex-MLA and another is a sitting MP...Putta Mahesh (sitting TDP MP) tested positive in blood sample testing. We will produce them before the Court..."

The Irrevocable Bladesman 无归客 [2025] Directed By: Huang Hao Zhong 黄浩忠 Another Chinese DTV for the year with a new director, which is pretty common over the past few years when a new action or fantasy film drops on these services. This film had a lot of potential with the outfit designs and how the film starts, but after that it turns into an exposition dump on the lead recovering and talking about the good times. It isn't until the one-hour mark, we get a grand fight but is not in the caliber of this scene in terms of editing but is okay with an old school vibe to it due to the forearm weapons the villain is wearing. Currently streaming on iQIYI.

Attorney General #LetitiaJames on Friday released body camera footage from four corrections officers involved in an incident that led to the death of #RobertBrooks. One officer has resigned and 13 have been suspended without pay. I am very angry bcuz I sick and tired of our black men being brutalized by these white boys in these jails. Let me say this…I fully understand how serious his initial crime was in 2016. I also understand that he had been in custody since 2017! I also read that he has a family that cares for him…he was still loved and I will NEVER forget what my mother always said, “Everybody is somebody’s child”, and his mother had to watch that. However, this man was in custody and during this transport He was handcuffed!!! They actually shoved a white towel down his throat…this is ONLY an excerpt and FOURTEEN officers have been associated with this situation!!! New York Governor #KathyHochul was totally appalled at this grotesque treatment…EVERYONE HAS BEEN SICKENED, BUT HOW LONG WILL THIS CONTINUE??????????? It has ALREADY BEEN TOO DAMN LONG… Sheriff #CraigDumond state, "No human being should be treated that way by another human being.
