I unmuted the clip, I don't know what I was expecting but the lack of something was disappointing. I don't know if rule based sound design is something you would want to invest time into but if done right it could be sweet. Cool none the less.

You might be able to get something like fat vesicle/membrane by setting the rule for one of the particle types similar to a molecule that’s hydrophobic on one side and hydrophilic on the other. Weakly repulses all other particle and weakly attracts itself.

how intensive is it to run this? I've been super interested in making something similar for a while

This one has 4k particles and is already draining my CPU, so, rather intensive. Though it definitely can be optimized a lot
