@KaChat_ My buddy and I put our phones on airplane mode and KaChat messaging stopped working. Is it possible to get it to work while on airplane mode unconnected to WiFi? To me that would really change the game

I’m honestly speechless testing out KaChat. When I first heard about $KAS in 2023 after Uphold listed it there was nothing here besides send/receive functionality. Now I’m messaging Kaspa Silver on KaChat (public beta) and it feels just like using iMessage on my iPhone. No L2’s required, no invasive KYC, no asking anybody for permission to use this service, and most importantly no cellular contract like with Verizon or AT&T where your data is sold to the highest bidder to deliver you ad slop 24/7. We are literally using the base layer of an internet speed proof of work protocol to message back and forth with ease where every message is an L1 tx. I just don’t know what to say. I’m so bullish on $KAS and how the protocol is an open sandbox for developers and coders. If you want to build it, you can probably build it on Kaspa. If you have 30 minutes please follow the instructions in the original post and download KaChat and start testing it and sending it to your friends and family and show them what is possible with $KAS. Guys check this out this is the coolest thing ever. You can now store encrypted files or passwords directly on $KAS L1 at I used this to encrypt a 12 word Kaspium seed phrase with 1,000 $KAS in it. Update on the encrypted messaging service on $kas It is a hybrid encryption system that combines ECDH (Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman) for key exchange and ChaCha20-Poly1305 for the actual message encryption. This is True P2P encrypted messaging, only achievable on the fastest, most secure and most decentralized L1 known to man. It may look slow, but this is due to the tesnet api and not kaspa.
