They are Naastiks who in English are calling themselves rationalists. This is accepted in Hinduism as well. To tell you the truth such debate has always been accepted. Attaching a screenshot below. Now a theist should debate with him and make him realise the various forms of the divine’s presence. That is what Hinduism allows for. Also many of these events happened 5000 years or much earlier. So I hope he realizes that. On the other hand his other comments in the past day are condemnable. Quite arrogant and ignorant of people beyond his own state.
