This one was on Bathurst Street in Toronto — a very low-profile synagogue that, from the outside, actually looks like an old Shoppers Drug Mart. In other words, whoever attacked it likely did some research first. I saw another couple of cameramen there, so this might make the news, but most acts of vandalism like this don’t. But really, it’s not “new” anymore, is it? Under Canada’s mass immigration system, we have imported hundreds of thousands of people who hate the West, hate Canada, hate Christianity and — most of all — hate Jews. And every few generations it changes into something different. Now people are literally saying, oh, we’ll just get rid of Israel and everything will be fine. It shifts into something different, in which takes everything bad that was said about the Jews, everything that you attributed to the Jews as the worst thing in history, instead of on the Jews, onto Israel. And they attribute the same bloodthirstiness, the same untrustworthiness, the same desire to control and power. Literally take the word Jew and swap it with IDF. They’re standing on the footsteps of colleges in America and they are rehashing. They think they have this new, they found this new cause and unbeknown to them, first of all, they’re rehashing antisemitic tropes from like the 1500s, right? And that obsession that they aren’t even aware of is what allowed for October 7th and October 8th to happen. And that is something that we need to be very careful about, because they’re after taking Israel down. And that would be if they will succeed, and they won’t. But they’re after that. And that is the possible new Holocaust. That would be the calamity of the Jewish people of our generation. And it’s masked as this like, I’m not antisemitic, I’m just an anti-Zionist. And you Greta Thunberg, are chanting “crush Zionism” on the streets of Sweden. Zionism is the Jewish people exercising our right to self-determination in some parts of our only historic, ancestral and indigenous homeland. Hamas showed us on October 7 what “crushing Zionism” looks like and you want to cheer that on Greta? Greta Thunberg, if I can borrow your famous phrase, “how dare you!” But this is how antisemitism works – Find what is most evil to you, and blame it on the Jews, or today - on the Jewish state. I can understand that younger generations in western societies feel guilty about the evils of colonialism. But Israel’s history is not your history, and whatever guilt you feel, supporting the massacre of Jews in their ancestral land will not wash away the sins of your fathers. When your ancestors were colonizing the world, my ancestors were being slaughtered by Cossacks. We were dreaming – next year in Jerusalem – of building a life raft in our homeland. Israel And Its Supporters Are Causing Attacks On Jewish Institutions Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt gave a bizarre appearance on CNN in response to an attempted car bombing of a Michigan synagogue by a man whose Lebanese family members were killed by Israeli forces. “We are seeing Jewish people, the Jewish state, blamed for the war in the Middle East,” Greenblatt said. “That is wrong. It is wrong to scapegoat, it is wrong to hold Jewish people accountable for something you don’t like on the other side of the planet. And we really need leaders on all sides in politics, running for office, podcasters, to stop with the conspiracies, to stop with the accusations, and then tell us ‘but we oppose antisemitism’. You don’t get to say you’re opposed to hate if you’re trafficking in hateful conspiracy theories.” Now, at first glance it this might read like Greenblatt is taking the entirely reasonable position that it is wrong to blame Jewish Americans for the actions of the Israeli government. But take a closer look at his use of the phrase “the Jewish state”. What Greenblatt is actually doing here is claiming it’s an antisemitic conspiracy theory to blame the state of Israel for its war crimes, while simultaneously lumping all Jewish people in with the actions of that state. That’s what he’s doing when he says “Jewish people, the Jewish state” in the same breath while talking about Israeli acts of mass military violence. It’s so obnoxious how genocide apologists like Greenblatt make a living actively telling everyone that Jews and Judaism are inseparable from the acts of the Israeli government, but whenever there’s an extremist attack by someone who doesn’t distinguish between western Jews and the state of Israel it gets blamed on the pro-Palestine left. Pro-Palestine leftists perform endless verbal gymnastics to avoid conflating Jewish people with the state of Israel, while Israel and its supporters conflate them constantly. Yet we’re always the ones who get blamed whenever there’s a terror attack on a Jewish institution by someone enraged by Israel’s actions. Zionists are the ones doing everything they can to make sure people see the state of Israel as synonymous with Jews and Judaism. That is what they are doing every time they claim a criticism of Israel’s actions is hate speech against Jews. They are claiming that the nation and its government are one and the same as the entirety of the Jewish faith and its adherents. Pro-Palestine leftists have been doing the exact opposite. We go to great pains to make sure all our arguments are carefully worded to avoid being interpreted as an attack on the Jewish faith, making it clear that our grievance is with the state of Israel and the political ideology of Zionism which supports that state’s abusive nature. And then Israel apologists come in and smear those meticulously crafted arguments as a hateful attack on all Jews everywhere. Zionists are therefore responsible for the growing perception that our Jewish neighbors and countrymen are culpable for the abuses of the Israeli government. When more attacks on Jewish institutions occur (and they will), it is Israel and its supporters who will hold the blame for this, not the pro-Palestine left. I am not saying attacks on Jewish institutions should happen. I am not saying it will be good when they do happen. I’m saying it will happen, and when it happens it will be a terrible thing. And it will be the fault of Israel and its supporters. We’ve been running around like crazy trying to stop this, falling all over ourselves to thwart the Zionist efforts to conflate Jews with Israel, but our voices aren’t strong enough. We’re not the ones getting loudly amplified by every mass media outlet, they are. It’s not people like me getting invited to appear on CNN to talk to Wolf Blitzer, it’s people like Jonathan Greenblatt. So when we lose the narrative war on this front and the next extremist attack occurs, it won’t be our fault. It will be theirs. It will be the fault of Israel and its apologists. Israel And Its Supporters Are Causing Attacks On Jewish Institutions Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt gave a bizarre appearance on CNN in response to an attempted car bombing of a Michigan synagogue by a man whose Lebanese family members were killed by Israeli forces. “We are seeing Jewish people, the Jewish state, blamed for the war in the Middle East,” Greenblatt said. “That is wrong. It is wrong to scapegoat, it is wrong to hold Jewish people accountable for something you don’t like on the other side of the planet. And we really need leaders on all sides in politics, running for office, podcasters, to stop with the conspiracies, to stop with the accusations, and then tell us ‘but we oppose antisemitism’. You don’t get to say you’re opposed to hate if you’re trafficking in hateful conspiracy theories.” Now, at first glance it this might read like Greenblatt is taking the entirely reasonable position that it is wrong to blame Jewish Americans for the actions of the Israeli government. But take a closer look at his use of the phrase “the Jewish state”. What Greenblatt is actually doing here is claiming it’s an antisemitic conspiracy theory to blame the state of Israel for its war crimes, while simultaneously lumping all Jewish people in with the actions of that state. That’s what he’s doing when he says “Jewish people, the Jewish state” in the same breath while talking about Israeli acts of mass military violence. It’s so obnoxious how genocide apologists like Greenblatt make a living actively telling everyone that Jews and Judaism are inseparable from the acts of the Israeli government, but whenever there’s an extremist attack by someone who doesn’t distinguish between western Jews and the state of Israel it gets blamed on the pro-Palestine left. Pro-Palestine leftists perform endless verbal gymnastics to avoid conflating Jewish people with the state of Israel, while Israel and its supporters conflate them constantly. Yet we’re always the ones who get blamed whenever there’s a terror attack on a Jewish institution by someone enraged by Israel’s actions. Zionists are the ones doing everything they can to make sure people see the state of Israel as synonymous with Jews and Judaism. That is what they are doing every time they claim a criticism of Israel’s actions is hate speech against Jews. They are claiming that the nation and its government are one and the same as the entirety of the Jewish faith and its adherents. Pro-Palestine leftists have been doing the exact opposite. We go to great pains to make sure all our arguments are carefully worded to avoid being interpreted as an attack on the Jewish faith, making it clear that our grievance is with the state of Israel and the political ideology of Zionism which supports that state’s abusive nature. And then Israel apologists come in and smear those meticulously crafted arguments as a hateful attack on all Jews everywhere. Zionists are therefore responsible for the growing perception that our Jewish neighbors and countrymen are culpable for the abuses of the Israeli government. When more attacks on Jewish institutions occur (and they will), it is Israel and its supporters who will hold the blame for this, not the pro-Palestine left. I am not saying attacks on Jewish institutions should happen. I am not saying it will be good when they do happen. I’m saying it will happen, and when it happens it will be a terrible thing. And it will be the fault of Israel and its supporters. We’ve been running around like crazy trying to stop this, falling all over ourselves to thwart the Zionist efforts to conflate Jews with Israel, but our voices aren’t strong enough. This is a pertinent clip from Sam Harris on the moral difference between Israel and her enemies. The moral difference comes down to understanding the answer to this question: what would each side do if they had the power to do it? The Israelis are surrounded by people who have explicitly genocidal intentions towards them. The charter of Hamas is explicitly genocidal. Come and kill him.” This is a political document. We are talking about a government that was voted into power by a majority of Palestinians. The discourse in the Muslim world about Jews is utterly shocking. Not only is there widespread Holocaust denial—there’s Holocaust denial that then asserts that we will do it for real if given the chance. The only thing more obnoxious than denying the Holocaust is to say that it should have happened; it didn’t happen, but if we get the chance, we will accomplish it. There are children’s shows in the Palestinian territories and elsewhere that teach five-year-olds about the glories of martyrdom and about the necessity of killing Jews. And this gets to the heart of the moral difference between Israel and her enemies. And this is something I discussed in The End of Faith. To see this moral difference, you have to ask what each side would do if they had the power to do it. What would the Jews do to the Palestinians if they could do anything they wanted? Well, we know the answer to that question, because they can do more or less anything they want. The Israeli army could kill everyone in Gaza tomorrow. So what does that mean? Well, it means that, when they drop a bomb on a beach and kill four Palestinian children, as happened last week, this is almost certainly an accident. They’re not targeting children. They could target as many children as they want. Every time a Palestinian child dies, Israel edges ever closer to becoming an international pariah. So the Israelis take great pains not to kill children and other noncombatants. What do we know of the Palestinians? What would the Palestinians do to the Jews in Israel if the power imbalance were reversed? Well, they have told us what they would do. For some reason, Israel’s critics just don’t want to believe the worst about a group like Hamas, even when it declares the worst of itself. We’ve already had a Holocaust and several other genocides in the 20th century. People are capable of committing genocide. When they tell us they intend to commit genocide, we should listen. There is every reason to believe that the Palestinians would kill all the Jews in Israel if they could. Would every Palestinian support genocide? Of course not. There was no such thing as Palestine in 1000 BC. In fact, "Palestine" is a word that's made up, and there is some suggestion that Herodotus used the term as a play on words in the Greek period to refer to the Philistine people. The Philistines, by the way, have nothing to do with modern Palestinians, modern Muslim Arabs. They are a non-Semitic people. They are an Indo-European people. They're a Greek people who spoke an Indo-European language, derivative of Greek, and who invaded, not just northern Egypt, but also southwestern Israel, the land we now know as Gaza, at around that time, about 1,000 years before the Romans arrived. The Philistines fought, and this plays out in the Bible, they fought many wars against their rivals. Not just on the western side with the Egyptians, but also on the eastern side with the Jews. And of course, the famous battle with Goliath and David is a battle between the Jews and the Philistines. The point is that by the time of the Greeks, the Philistines had already died out. And Herodotus was playfully making a play on words with the name Israel. The name Israel, as you know, is Hebrew for "He who wrestles with God." And so the Greek word, the ancient Greek word for wrestler, he who wrestles, is "Palaistine." And so since the Philistines were in that land, he had called it Palaistine as a play, a transliteration of the Jewish word or the Hebrew word Israel, He who wrestles with God. We Jews thought we were safe in America. I no longer feel that with so many mobs on the streets openly calling for the mass slaughter of Jews. Here in Venice, we just had these terrorism-loving monsters shouting for the slaughter of all Jews -- and note the "from the river to the sea" signs. Marching through a residential neighborhood where many Jews live. It's terrifying and I'm guessing it was meant to terrify. I went out and yelled, repeatedly, "I'm a Jew! I'm a Jew! I support the state of Israel!" and "Am Yisrael chai!" This horrible bully -- the tall bearded male in the green vest-- kept advancing on me. Gotta show the Jew woman her place, right? Intimidate her into shutting up and going away. Of course, as a man, he is taller and stronger than I am, and when I told him to back off, he didn't -- kept advancing, clearly to intimidate me -- a thin 59-year-old woman who writes books, out on the street in her slippers. Well, I was afraid, but I held my ground as much as I could while backing away from him. It's just what had to be done. I'm still shaking and I can't stop crying. This is America now? Really? And, from the bottom of my heart, I thank every one of you Americans who stands against this -- like the many beautiful Christians here on Twitter who showed me the Jewish stars they'd just taken to wearing. The antisemitic attacks in Boulder, Colorado should remind us all of the stark difference between light and darkness. You will never see a protester shouting “Am Yisrael Chai” (Long Live the People of Israel) while causing chaos or intimidating others. That kind of behavior, sadly, is far more common in the “Free Palestine” crowds. Why? The answer is simple. Pro-Israel supporters focus on bringing the hostages home, pursuing peace, and contributing to humanity, just look at what Israel has given the world: the USB flash drive, cherry tomatoes, Waze, and countless innovations. Pro-Israel demonstrations are civil and respectful of their host countries. In America, they proudly wave American flags. In the UK, they wave British flags. They don’t chant battle cries or hateful slogans. And if one or two individuals cross the line, they are swiftly condemned, certainly not representative of the majority. But what I’ve seen in the Netherlands, the United States, the UK, and Canada from many “Free Palestine” demonstrations is a different story: Widespread intimidation, angry chants, blatant disrespect. And if there are one or two respectful individuals, they are usually drowned out by a majority fueled by hate, often driven by radical Islamist ideologies that harbor deep antisemitism. History will remember those who worked tirelessly for peace between Arabs and Israelis, those who genuinely care about Palestinians living in dignity, side by side with Israel. And it will also remember those who weaponized hate in the name of “Palestine.” P.S. Raising a major red flag!! This is very serious. You know, over the past few years, when I speak of antisemitism today and how it compares to antisemitism before the Holocaust, one of the biggest pushbacks I get is that back then antisemitism was institutionalized with the Nuremberg laws, but today it is not. So allow me to tell you what institutionalized antisemitism looks like. The topic of foreign aid to Israel is a hot topic. Yesterday there was a vote in the U.S. House of Representatives and 104 representatives voted for a bill to cut all foreign aid to Israel. So how serious is American foreign aid to Israel? Allow me to give you some numbers. The US GDP is about $27 trillion. Their foreign aid is about $100 billion. That means that ALL US foreign aid put together is 0.37% of their GDP. A microscopic number. But that is ALL their foreign aid. How much of that goes to Israel? America sends Israel $3.3 billion in annual foreign aid. That means that Israel’s foreign aid from the US is about 3% to 4% of total U.S. foreign aid, which is only 0.37% of the GDP. And this is what all the fuss is about?! By the way, Israel’s GDP is approaching the trillion dollar mark. So again, we’re talking about $3.3 billion from the US out of Israel’s $1 trillion GDP. That number is almost completely insignificant. For context, the Ukraine gets about $6.5 billion. So congress said no to stopping foreign aid to Israel. That’s great news, right? Wrong!! Over 100 American congressmen voted to stop foreign aid!! 104!! This was a bipartisan issue forever. No more. How does that number compare to previous votes on the same topic? In 2025, only 6 members voted to cut funding. Six! And yesterday was 104!! This is extremely worrisome! Side note: I actually hope Israel does become independent and stops taking foreign aid but that should be our decision, not congress’ decision! So… As you may or may not recall, before 10/7, I wrote a post raising a red flag that something big is about to happen and Israel will be at the center of it. Wrote that two days before. And a month before Bondi, I wrote that there is going to be a mass casualty event at a Jewish event. I’m not a prophet but I do have my eyes open so allow me to tell you what’ll happen next. The conspiracies about Israel are running rampant. They are getting sillier and more dangerous by the day. “But I’m sure those conspiracy theorists are just a bunch of crazy people with no influence.” Really? How about the vice president of the United States of America? This is a recent interview with JD Vance, the vice president of the United States of America, saying on Joe Rogan’s podcast to his millions and millions of followers and listeners that there are paid players funded by Israel who are trying everything to undermine America’s negotiations with Iran. He quotes a time magazine article that singles out actual friends of mine who are paid by no one and the entire article is one big blood libel. And this is the vice president of the United States spreading this false narrative about Israel. The conspiracies are everywhere, and they are getting worse by the day. Things that were considered socially unacceptable and even taboo just a few years ago have become a daily occurrence. If I showed you my comment section or my inbox on any given day, you would become physically ill. You know, the caricatures of Jews with big noses, the name calling, the praising Hitler, the claim that the Jews are the source of all of the world’s problems, and on and on and on. Just a few years ago, no one would dare speak that way publicly. Maybe they would say it behind closed doors, but they would never say it publicly due to the risk of being canceled as an antisemite. Not only are those things no longer taboo, not only are they acceptable, they are now the cool thing to do. All the cool kids are doing it. So here’s my new prediction. Soon, I don’t know if it’s a couple of weeks or a month or two, there’s going to be some explosive new theory or conspiracy about how Israel is undermining the US. It will be widely accepted by Americans, which will lead to a faster increase in anti-Semitism, which will lead to Jews finding themselves totally isolated and discriminated against in mainstream American society. Mark my words, over the next short while, we will see some serious allegations against Israel, whether it’s Israel spying on America, Israel stealing money from America, or something else that is completely not based on reality. Antisemitism in the United States and Western civilization in general is about to go through the roof. I am not talking about anti-Semitism from Islamist. I am not talking about radical anti-Semitism from the far left. I am not even talking about anti-Semitism from the far right. I am talking about mainstream American society, people who stood by us for years, completely turning on the Jews and joining forces with all of the groups I just mentioned. We are going to see anti-Semitism escalate physical violence and even murder. Things are about to get a whole lot worse and fast. As I always say, I would love nothing more than to be wrong, but I am not wrong. The silver lining? Many more Jews are going to come to the conclusion that they are no longer welcome in the United States, and will contact Nefesh B’Nefesh, get on a plane, and come home. Unfortunately, there will be many Jews who don’t, and who continue to convince themselves that everything is OK and that it won’t happen there. To those diaspora Jews, please remain alert at all times. So now, I ask a question I’ve been asking for years. Dear my brothers and sisters in the diaspora, what has to happen for you to realize it’s time to go? I’ve wondered my whole life why the German Jews didn’t leave, and I never had an answer, until now. If someone had a gun to their head and that person was told that if they don’t get on an El Al plane within the hour, the person will pull the trigger. Anyone in their right mind would get on a plane, right? If that’s the case, presumably those people do not think that what’s happening today constitutes a gun to their head. So here’s my question, what does? If synagogues being vandalized, Jews being harassed, Jewish businesses being boycotted, businesses refusing to serve Jews, Jews being assaulted and even murdered, being hunted down, lists of Jews being made, every single top podcaster (Candace, Tucker, Fuentes, Rogan) hating on the Jews, and politicians suggesting camps for Zionists, if all of that is not a gun to your head, then what is? What has to happen for you to realize you need to get out and now? Is there any such event? If so, what is it? I fully recognize that this is going to anger a lot of my friends in the diaspora. You know what? I am totally OK with that. You wanna know why? Because do you know who else would’ve been angered by me raising this red flag? My grandmother. And every other European Jew who lived there just before the Holocaust. If I had told them then what I’m telling you now, they would’ve called me hysterical, they would’ve said I am fearmongering, and they would’ve said it won’t happen here. Oh, and one more thing. Please don’t misunderstand me. I am deeply grateful for America’s support of Israel. My family was given refuge in the US. The US has been good to my family and to my people. I am thankful for that. Sadly that party is over and it’s time for Jews to open a history book and look what happened to the Jews in every single empire ever after many many years of living in that empire comfortably and in safety. In every single one of those instances, the party ended and the Jews did not read the writing on the wall before it was too late. How about we change that pattern and get out before it’s too late? While the party is over for Jews over there, the party over here is just getting started. We are building a BETTER future for Jews here in Israel. Yes, we have challenges here. I’d be delusional if I denied that. But the trajectory here is a good one. And if the challenges and problems over here bother you so much, then come here and fix them! The good news is, it’s true, antisemitism today cannot be compared to back then. However, there is only one reason for that, and that reason is the modern state of Israel, a country where any Jew can walk around freely with a kipa on their head and a star of David around their neck. Here, you are welcome with open arms. We were given a historic and unprecedented gift with the modern state of Israel, a gift our ancestors would have died for, and even Moses was denied. If you think Israel is committing genocide you have to admit Britain 🇬🇧 did in WW2. Their reaction to 7th October 2023 was measured & reasonable. In WW2 the civilian to combatant ratio was 9 German civilians dead for every soldier, it is one-to-one in Gaza. It is used as a textbook example at West Point in America 🇺🇸 on how to conduct relatively humane urban warfare. It's estimated 80% of the deaths in Gaza have been Hamas operatives & their families. The Israelis text & leaflet areas they are about to attack, 24 hours before at least. I have used Grok as a source for info & fact checking. The British Mandate in Palestine lasted from 1917 to 1948. On Dan Wootton's video. Yes there was violence & tensons. In 1936 we set up the Peel Commission to try & end the constant violence. It offered 17% of land to the Jews, which the Palestinians rejected. It was followed by the Arab Revolt against the British & the Jews from 1936 to 1939. A white paper in 1939, to placate Arab-Muslim sensibilities, (times don't change) it was heavily restricted. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem met with Hitler in 1941 to discuss their antisemitism. The backdrop was increasing antisemitism in Europe, in the 1930s Jews wanted to migrate, under the inspiration of the British 1917 Balfour Declaration. Many Palestinian Jews supported the Allies; about 30,000 enlisted in British forces. In July 1944 the Jewish Brigade was formed & fought in Italy. Meanwhile at the gas chambers 6 million Jews, two-thirds of European Jewry was wiped out. The need for a homeland had greater urgency. In 1944 hardline Zionist groups like Irgun & Lehi (Stern Gang) began armed campaigns against British rule, aiming for a Jewish state. British Minister Lord Moyne was assassinated. The Jewish Agency/Haganah cooperated with the British against the extremists called "The Hunting Season". In late 1945 the Jewish Agency & Haganah joined Irgun and Lehi in coordinated resistance (sometimes called the "Jewish Revolt").
