The Bible says otherwise: "Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons" - 1 Tim 4:1

2 LIES - RAPTURE AND ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED. NO TO BOTH. ETERNAL SECURITY? HEBREWS 6 AND THE SOWER SAY NO. The doctrine of “Once Saved, Always Saved” survives largely by rewriting every warning passage until no warning remains. Hebrews 6 is one of the clearest examples. The writer describes people who were “enlightened,” had “tasted of the heavenly gift,” were made “partakers of the Holy Ghost,” had tasted “the good word of God” and “the powers of the world to come”—and then fell away. That is not a description of unbelievers who merely attended church or made an empty profession. They had genuinely participated in the realities of the Christian faith. The text does not say they only appeared enlightened, pretended to share in the Spirit or falsely imagined they had received the heavenly gift. Those qualifications are added afterwards to rescue a doctrine the passage itself contradicts. The illustration that follows makes the point even clearer. Two fields receive the same rain. One bears useful fruit and receives blessing; the other produces thorns and ends in burning. The difference is not that one field received the rain and the other did not. Both received it. The difference is what they produced after receiving it. You cannot meaningfully “fall away” from somewhere you have never stood. You cannot abandon a faith you never possessed, depart from a God you never followed or reject a gift you never received. Apostasy means turning away from something real. Jesus teaches exactly the same truth in the Parable of the Sower. Concerning the rocky-ground hearers, He says: “They believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away” —Luke 8:13 Jesus does not say they merely appeared to believe. He does not say they falsely thought they believed. He says they believed. The first soil represents those who never believe because Satan removes the word “lest they should believe and be saved.” But the rocky soil is different. They receive the word with joy, believe for a time, endure temporarily—and then fall away. Christ Himself distinguishes those who never believe from those who believe and later abandon that belief. To reply, “They were never true believers,” is not interpretation. It is contradiction. The good soil is distinguished not merely by receiving the word, but by keeping it and bearing fruit “with patience”—with perseverance. The issue is not merely how someone begins, but whether they continue. This does not mean salvation is earned by works or lost whenever a believer sins, struggles or doubts. The issue is not weakness followed by repentance. The issue is apostasy: deliberately abandoning Christ, returning to unbelief and refusing to continue in faith. God is able to keep His people. Christ intercedes for them. The Spirit strengthens them. But Scripture still commands believers to abide, endure, hold fast, continue and remain faithful to the end. Those warnings are not theatrical. They exist because the danger is real. Hebrews 6 and the Parable of the Sower speak with one voice: people may genuinely receive, genuinely believe and yet fail to persevere. Grace does not make perseverance unnecessary. Grace makes perseverance possible. “We are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end.” —Hebrews 3:14

You can’t lose salvation like you can lose car keys but you can abandon the faith and be an apostate.

Lies more scriptures actually say you can loose your salvation rather then misinterpreting ones that say once saved always saved! There is not one scripture that says once you come to JESUS you will always be saved!

We like most everything you say but can you tell where in the Bible this references? I believe we do nothing for our salvation. It is a gift of God but isnt there a difference to those who believe in Jesus but get in the wrong crowd and fall away. Or lose a loved one and turn away. What about the seed that falls on the rocks and all that. Trust in God and Acknowledge Him yes. It seems like a fine line but I dont see the point to say you dont need to do anything to be saved. You need to believe and follow Jesus. That is what you need to do. It is a free gift yes but someone who maybe loves Jesus at one point and murders someone or rapes someone layer in life has lost salvation and fallen from God's grace.

#ThingsJesusNeverSaid He did say if you don’t forgive you won’t be forgiven He did say if you call a brother a ‘fool’ [Greek ‘MOROS’ = ‘MORON’] you’re “in danger of hell fire” Jesus didn’t teach ‘Christianity’.

You are a heretic. The reason is, not one soul born into this world is saved. So then no one has " a salvation " to lose what they do not have.

Amen! Of course it’s OSAS if that’s what you choose because for sure, we never lose our choice❤️

IDTS 19) "Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well, holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and thereby shipwrecked their faith." Rev. He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

She is not saying we will never sin again, as the Word says we die daily. Those who have truly experienced Jesus, abandon their old ways and repent daily BC HE DIED FOR YOU. True believers do not abandon that realization. Eyes to see and ears to HEAR.

OSAS is an easy, comfortable, broad path to destruction. It's the lying spirit people want to hear to avoid what faith actually means. John 14:12 "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do" The entire gospel is Christ teaching how to do works (Great commandment).

Not true. Choose you this day whom you will serve

Matthew 24:13

Takes a lot of your word gymnastics to explain your gospel, even when it's written in black and white: James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

1 John 2:4-5 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

Why would we have to “work out our salvation with fear and trembling”

1. I don’t think people in general understand this word “salvation”. 2. I think people should read Romans 11 a little closer for the whole “cut off” part. 3. I think people should REALLY consider Matthew 7:21-23 and 25:12. It’s not about works, it’s about relationship.

Amen sister! Preach the truth 🙏🏻🕊️

You are a Dispensationalist: Christian theological system that interprets the Bible by dividing human history into distinct administrative periods—called dispensations—during which God tests humanity under different rules or responsibilities that is not what scripture is about...

Amen

So Demus who walked away because he loved this present world didn’t lose his Salvation?

True! That is why there is not one example of someone losing their salvation in the NT. If this were the greatest danger concerning salvation, one would think there would be many examples—at least one—in the New Testament. But there isn’t. Good post, sister!

If you blaspine against the holy spirit, the Bible directly teaches this is the worst thing any human being can do. Yes, you can lose salvation. You can turn towards Satanism and start doing horrible things to children, and you can lose salvation.

Hers another…6 Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,2 and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And this we will do if God permits. 4 For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit,5 and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come,6 and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.

Amen sister 👏👏🙏

Very true, Ashley!!

Excellent teaching Ashley! Yeshua, the one "unique" son of the living God, Adonai Eloheinu (The Lord Our God), is just what he claimed...the only way to the Father.

If you are truly saved, you will never deny Jesus and you will seek to walk in obedience!

Thanks, Ashley. I've struggled all my life and been scared that I would stand b4 Jesus and hear the words "Depart from me, I never knew you." You have helped me realize that I am actually saved. I no longer fear death. I look forward to meeting you in heaven.

Did lucifer lose his eternal security? Do you remember Lot's wife? OSAS?

🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I needed to hear this. I struggle with this bc my lack of obedience at times. Knowing better and not doing better. But know in my heart Jesus already saved me and will not let me go

Lmao. This lady would do well to take a course in formal logic. To assert that you can lose something does not imply that I am also asserting that my current possession of this thing is maintained by my own strength. This is fallacious.

Amen & thank you ✝️🙏

It amazes me that we all read the Bible and yet have different understandings of Salvation? How can this be? We can’t afford to be wrong about this. I’ve heard endless debate on this subject. That’s odd and concerning. So who is right? Be not deceived🙏🏻
