AOC’s “Know Your Rights” seminar is classic political theater. Educating constituents on legal rights isn’t the issue—undermining federal immigration enforcement is. The First Amendment protects speech, not coordinated efforts to obstruct ICE’s mission. If her seminar crossed into advising evasion tactics, that’s a problem. The DOJ’s focus remains on cartels and violent criminals, not political stunts. America First means enforcing laws, not enabling chaos. Security and sovereignty aren’t negotiable.

This would hold some weight coming from someone who didn't try to delegitimize the Supreme Court over a decision she didn't like. Neither side are heroes. They're both just choosing based on what they don't like without regard to principle or the Constitution.

This is the fight, and the fight was crystallised in the election when millions of people in India clearly understood that the Prime Minister of India was attacking the Constitution of India. Every single word that I have said to you is in the Constitution. The foundation of modern India is the Constitution. What people understood in the election clearly, and I saw it happening when I used to raise the Constitution, people understood what I was saying. They were saying that the BJP is attacking our tradition, attacking our language, attacking our states, attacking our histories. Most importantly, what they understood was that anybody who is attacking the Constitution of India is also attacking our religious tradition. That is why in my first speech in Parliament you must have noticed when I describe Abhayamudra, the fact that this is a symbol of fearlessness and it is present in every single Indian religion. It is a war crime. It is abhorrent, and it is also illegal. Our presence right now is a crime. I personally believe it’s impeachable. But putting all of that aside, it’s a crime.
