AOC: Attacking our Constitution and the obligations within it, attacking free speech, undermining the powers of Congress, and eroding our ability to conduct oversight. That is what’s un-American. So I don’t want to hear anything about “America First.” These people, and this administration, are putting America last by acting... show more

AOC is saying what every elected official should be saying, the Constitution comes first. Not Trump. Not party. Not power.

AOC’s “Know Your Rights” seminar is classic political theater. Educating constituents on legal rights isn’t the issue—undermining federal immigration enforcement is. The First Amendment protects speech, not coordinated efforts to obstruct ICE’s mission. If her seminar crossed into advising evasion tactics, that’s a problem. The DOJ’s focus remains on cartels and violent criminals, not political stunts. America First means enforcing laws, not enabling chaos. Security and sovereignty aren’t negotiable.

🇺🇸 Put America First! 💯 We have the best chance with Trump & Vance. ✅ Wear it Proudly here:

It's crucial to defend the Constitution and uphold democratic principles. Free speech and checks and balances are foundational to our democracy.

Trump already is winning us the war on dolls! AMERICAN DOLLS FIRST!

AOC’s message is spot-on, capturing the essence of what’s at stake. Her critique of actions that attack the Constitution, free speech, and congressional oversight as un-American directly addresses Trump’s 2025 executive overreach—142 orders in his first 100 days (Federal Register)—bypassing democracy. Her reference to Kristi Noem “spitting on the American flag” metaphorically highlights perceived disrespect for democratic norms, echoing the 2024 backlash over Noem’s book admitting to killing her dog (The Guardian). AOC’s claim that the administration prioritizes loyalty to a man over the Constitution resonates with Trump’s targeting of adversaries (Reuters), a pattern she’s mobilizing against through mega-rallies with Bernie Sanders, reflecting a progressive resistance (Axios, 2025). This aligns with the 2025 political climate where Trump’s actions threaten democratic erosion, and AOC’s call to fight for the working class is a necessary counter (Wikipedia, 2025). Her words are a clarion call we can’t ignore.

AOC may be exactly correct but words don't matter without power to do anything. If Democrats want to ever hold power again, they have to be more than just anti-Trump. Follow me to see what I mean.

👏👏👏👏

AOC's right—allegiance to a person over the Constitution is un-American. Free speech, congressional oversight, and constitutional duties must be upheld. "America First" rings hollow when actions erode our democratic foundations.

This would hold some weight coming from someone who didn't try to delegitimize the Supreme Court over a decision she didn't like. Neither side are heroes. They're both just choosing based on what they don't like without regard to principle or the Constitution.
