apparently #TheAmazingDigitalCircus has different audio tracks for different languages! been rewatching the Pilot in all the languages available, i cant say how good a job they did on other languages but the Spanish dub is LEGITIMATELY TOP NOTCH. heres some of my favorite bits:

Can't tell how shocked I was when I heard russian voices in the episode. And it was covered by the shock of the moment when main character gets name. Because "pomni"("помни") is actually a russian word and mean's "don't forget". And it's also have a nice soft sounding.

I grew in an age where the only dubs for webshows were fandubs by teens with no acting skills and bad mics, those being our only way to enjoy those kind of shows cuz haha nobody knew english. Seeing an official and professional dub in modern webshows feels... Feels alien

Zimbabwe is arguably the MOST DIVERSE & MOST TOLERANT country in Southern Africa. 8 of the 12 Official Languages in South Africa are also official languages in Zimbabwe… With Zimbabwe have 16 official languages. It would be neat if the English dub had Sonic say phrases in other languages like the Japanese dub. Like have him say stuff in Japanese, Spanish, French, etc. actually now that I think about it the JP dub should have Sonic do this as well instead of just saying English phrases.

The most unique case music-wise would be the dub in Indian languages. They got the show from Funimation but decided not to use the Faulconer score for some reason, and went with the Kikuchi score but placed in the manner of the American dub music.

This also happened to the indigenous people who were forced to speak Arabic and change their names in places like Sudan. This warped the consciousness of individuals, leading to a loss of appreciation for indigenous languages and cultures - and promoted the adoption of the coloniser’s worldview, values, systems and structures. UNESCO's 1953 report, The Use of Vernacular Languages in Education, indicated that around 40% of the global population received education in an unfamiliar language. Sub-Saharan Africa, which is home to nearly 30% of the world’s languages, still uses the colonisers’ languages as national languages. Consequently, the education and values instilled remain those of the colonisers. Many languages are at risk of extinction, with only a few speakers left.
