The water slide animation frame or the crushing death? -because the latter aint even news, that's almost as common as the Chemical Plant Zone one that was still a problem even in Sonic Mania.

I was referring to the latter, since I didn’t think that could happen. Though, I guess that Knuckles sliding sprite was something I didn’t know existed either lol

Sorry if that sounded a tad rude by the way. -and now that I think of it both deaths are probably repeated in Mania. I don't know if on purpose or what.

Crush death is the most common death in S3&K. It was also bad in Sonic 2, but just didn't happen as often.

I’ve seen Knuckles walk on water before, but never nearly falling while sliding on water.

well one thing I DID find out from this video is there's a backslide animation for the water

Blame the hitbox that’s present in the RSDK games since I swear the crush detection wasn’t this ass back in 3&K …Trust me Carnival Night has multiple deaths that also wouldn’t happen outside of Origins as well
