Elon Musk: There's no physics barrier to fully solving paralysis. “You've got signals coming from your motor cortex that if they are transferred past the point where the nerves are damaged, it's basically a communications bridge. So, you bridge the communications from the motor cortex past the point in the neck or spine where the nerves are damaged. It is possible from a physics standpoint to restore full body functionality. This installation enables a live plant to control a machete. Plant machete has a control system that reads and utilizes the electrical noises found in a live philodendron. The system uses an open-source microcontroller connected to the plant to read varying resistance signals across the plant’s leaves. Using custom software, these signals are mapped in real-time to the movements of the joints of the industrial robot holding a machete. In this way, the movements of the machete are determined based on input from the plant. Apple recently filed a patent number US20230225659A1 The new earbuds described in the patent will allow Apple to read your brain waves “Earbuds that are designed and patented by Apple to literally read your brain waves, record your brain waves — You're not going to believe what these guys have the control to do with these. Check this out. The patent is for a bio signal sensing device using dynamic selection of electrodes. This is absolutely Apple, it is 2023 and it gets not good. Brain activity can be monitored using electrodes placed on the scalp of a user. The electrodes may in some case be placed inside or around the outer ear of the user. This is what our Osaka University team is developing in our Moonshot Internet of Brains Project. Unlike Synchron’s Stentrode, this technology can access thinner and more fragile cortical veins. By navigating into smaller vessels, it can record neural activity from a wider range of brain regions. So far, successful in pigs, and we aim to bring it to humans in the coming years.
