For 90% of buyers, the choice of storage is capacity. But memory architecture matters. Switching to QLC memory is bad. It probably won’t affect daily tasks like browsing etc but it’ll create a bottleneck for power users

Classic QLC behavior once the SLC cache runs dry. Dropping below TLC speeds on a 1TB tier makes sustained ProRes capture a nightmare for creators who specifically paid extra for storage headroom.
