Likely they’ll skip M4 Ultra and go straight to M5 Ultra, M4 max doesn’t have a UltraFusion connector and most people will want the improved neural accelerators in the M5 architecture anyway so seems silly to not skip a gen

Nice video - my thoughts are the same as many who bought the first version but I'll share them below: - It's far, far too heavy - It's not portable enough to warrant the significant amount of luggage/bag space it takes up when traveling - I aim to pack very light. It is hard to bring on trips. - Battery not great - Passthrough video absolutely sucks - although I am a pixel-peeping professional photographer - so the smartphone-style noisy HDR video is incredibly obvious to me. - The features it adds to my professional workflow do not warrant bringing it along for local work or distant travel. External monitor is cool for editing photos, but feels like a novelty after the first few sessions. There are no other justifiable productivity gains for me. - For personal use, the only win I've found is consuming content. I watched basically all of Severance S1/2 on it, which was the closest I've felt to being able to justify the purchase. It was truly amazing. Oppenheimer, Interstellar, Apollo 11 - all incredible to watch in the Vision Pro. What I'd want to see in future versions: - Kill as much weight as possible. Remove all the glass you can, remove EyeSight feature, potentially remove speakers and make it AirPods-only audio. - Improve battery by 100%+ - I realize this is far easier said than done. I don't mind the separate battery as much as I thought I would but I'm wondering if they could incorporate thin battery strips into the back of the headband, in addition to the separate battery, to boost battery life? - Make the footprint smaller - by any means possible - such that the arms can fold or easier come apart, etc, to fit in a case that's ~50% footprint of the current white travel case from Apple Do all of the above while retaining core AR/VR functionality at ~80% wow-factor and it would be a much better product. The first generation was still a worthwhile purchase for me because I enjoy experiencing the forefront of new technology... but looking back it'd probably be 50/50 if I bought it (at that price) again ~20 months ago.

I’ll stick with my M2 MacBook Air 24gb ram. Awesome laptop. Ram upgrade was probably the best move and I credit @zollotech for the recommendation to upgrade

Am thinking of trading in my M1 MacBook Pro Max for a M4 MacBook Pro Max. My use case is Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. To be honest the M1 is still amazing. But Nikon FX HDR and Panorama (total images as high 21) give me time to make coffee. Thoughts?
