Apple TV has rolled out an immersive Friday Night Baseball broadcast on Apple Vision Pro. Viewers can experience the game in 8K with a 180-degree field of view and spatial audio. This broadcast will be available for tonight’s Giants-Dodgers game

Also, worth noting that the MLB app on the Meta Quest headsets can do this for all games/broadcasts, though the "field view" is using the Gameday 3D graphics, not a live video feed. But the rest of the experience is basically exactly as shown in this video. Though not AVP quality

I'm guessing this will be a must have for sports fans in 3-5 years if form factor and price come down. I'm also guessing the fans onsite will do all kinds of crazy things knowing that they are in full view of those 180-360 degree front row cameras.

Baseball is the only sport where they don't broadcast all the players on the field (which is one reason it has a reputation for being boring). Nice to see an improvement.
