NVIDIA just announced some big updates for gaming on Apple Vision Pro. Starting March 19, headset streaming jumps from 60 FPS to 90 FPS. Later this spring, CloudXR 6.0 for visionOS will bring stereoscopic PC streaming to Vision Pro at up to 4K 120 FPS with foveated streaming. Just arrived at GTC and excited to see what else NVIDIA has in store.

Just watched the NBA LIVE on Apple Vision Pro in 180° Immersive Video tonight, let’s talk: • The image quality is insane. Easily the best live sports experience I’ve seen in 3D 180 (Apple Immersive Video). • No commercials. Thank you, Spectrum. • 5–7 camera angles, including stanchion cams, high-and-wide, scoreboard, and a moving halftime camera. • Dedicated Vision Pro commentators: it genuinely feels designed for this platform, not adapted from TV. • Instant replays help eliminate dead moments during live play. • You can switch between Spatial Video and full immersive 180 viewing. • Live subtitles and live graphics rendered stereoscopically in 3D. • Visual consistency looks the same on both M2 and M5 Vision Pro. • No commercials… yes, still worth repeating. • This is the best live 3D sports presentation I’ve personally experienced. Porsche just released “911 Spirit 70 App” — an interactive Vision Pro experience — and I’m absolutely in love. It’s one of the most beautiful user experiences I’ve had on Vision Pro, right up there with Spatial Gallery. And honestly, it breaks my heart that this video doesn’t do it justice — not even close. My highlight: The video player. It features multi-layered typography, stunning glowing effects, and it’s actually two-sided! But there’s so much more — the whole experience left me overwhelmed (in the best way). If you get the chance, I highly recommend trying it out in a large space or outside. It just hits different, trust me. This isn’t just another brand jumping on the Vision Pro hype to look innovative — Porsche truly is innovative with what they created. Every part of the app is uniquely, breathtakingly beautiful.

Spatial video is so underrated. Yeah, we all laughed at that cringey Apple Vision Pro demo.. the dad with a headset strapped on at his kid’s birthday. But this isn’t just video recording.. This is a life moment recording. Watching a spatial video in Apple Vision Pro feels like almost being there. Words can’t do justice- you have to experience it. When we lost our cat Buttercup, it was devastating. But I have spatially recorded videos of him- me petting him and seeing in full 3D. Every hair on his body, the fluffy texture of his fur, even the details in his whiskers- it’s so vivid it feels like you could reach out and touch him. It’s therapeutic. Healing. Almost like a window back into those moments. I used to think we’d have to wait until we were living in spaceships, staring at hologram of loved ones, to be experiencing something like this. But Apple made that a reality- now, in our lifetime. That’s the power of spatial video.

Is the Vision Pro expensive? Yes. Can it be compared to other headsets? Not at all—at least not in general—because it does a lot of things that others simply don’t. Let me give you an example: I’m a very nostalgic person. That’s why my photo library is one of my most valuable digital assets. With over 100,000 photos, browsing through my past memories can feel like traveling through time. But nothing—really NOTHING—comes close to the experience of reliving these memories on Vision Pro. With Apple’s Machine Learning, you can literally transform any of your old photos into spatial 3D experiences—and it just works. If you haven't tried this out yet with your own memories this will be hard for you to understand. But combined with music, this actually feels like time travelling and completely redefines the way you relive past memories. Honestly, this feature alone would be worth $2K to me. Just being able to feel like you're really there, in that moment is priceless. You might not feel the same way, but that’s why everyone needs to define the value of the Vision Pro for themselves. In the end, it’s always about what you use the technology for.

This is insane!🔥 This is a 720p (2D) video I shot of my kids 15 years ago! I used AI to upscale it, depth-map it, & used the depth map to convert it to 3D SBS, & then converted that to Spatial Video for Apple Vision Pro (MV-HEVC). My son is currently a senior in high school, and my daughter is a sophomore in college. This video has complete spatial depth when viewed in the Apple Vision Pro. Obviously, you can't appreciate that via this post. But it's like I'm there & I can see into this room. Talk about giving you the feels.🥹 This can be done with ANY video. 🤯 I'm working on refining the workflow, as it's a bit cumbersome. I plan to share it, but holy cow! I had to post this.

This city in Israel will never make it to the news. In this city, Muslims, Christians and Jews live together, work together, and marry each other. I went to Haifa, Israel to see it for myself. There are no Arab neighborhoods or Jewish neighborhoods. Everyone lives together. The hospitals are 50% Arab, 50% Jewish. The biggest tech companies in Haifa like Google, Microsoft, and Apple are full of Arab and Jewish engineers. But you will never see this story on the news. Because peace doesn't make it to the news. I saw it with my own two eyes - the people of Haifa will never stop trying for coexistence.

The NBA app on Apple Vision Pro just dropped a massive update. World View (Alpha) puts you inside a live 3D recreation of the game. Every player and ref tracked in real time, rendered in NBA city-inspired environments, with visual effects when buckets drop or shots clank off the rim. You can move around the court using waypoints and even pull up the live broadcast synced to the 3D recreation simultaneously. The models aren’t photorealistic yet, but the tracking is impressively accurate. When they start mapping real likenesses onto these, it’s going to be something else entirely. Lastly, Tabletop is now called Court View. The NBA keeps pushing spatial computing forward. I love to see it!
