🙌 Apple Vision Pro seems to perfectly support direct touch, which is a *fantastic* way to interact with digital content up close and personal, as well as typing with the keyboard. #WWDC23

visionOS26 is exceptional. You can easily unlock your iPhone while using your Apple Vision Pro. And look how seamlessly the iPhone appears when looking at it. It’s amazing! #AppleVisionPro #AugmentedReality

One thing Apple consistently gets right is the little details. The animations that appear while scanning your Persona on Apple Vision Pro are incredibly polished and make the whole experience feel premium. It's details like these that make visionOS feel less like an experiment and more like the foundation of where spatial computing is headed. What's your favorite attention to detail moment in visionOS?

I love this new battery dock for Apple Vision Pro. It's a game changer if you use Mac Virtual Display. It gives the battery a dedicated home, makes it really easy to connect to power, and lets me jump between work and other visionOS experiences. Link below.

Apple is adding a new feature to iOS that is designed to counteract motion sickness while looking at a screen in a moving vehicle. I'm very curious if they're thinking of the implications of this for VR experiences on Vision Pro.

🥽 Want to use your new Apple Vision Pro to control your robot? Want to record how you navigate / manipulate the world to train a policy? I developed an app for VisionOS that can stream your head / wrist / finger movements over WiFi, which you can subscribe on any machines using a simple python library. 🧵[1/6]

Shoutout to whoever at Apple came up with these beautiful animations that appear on Vision Pro when you scan your Persona. There is so much attention to detail throughout visionOS that it keeps me very confident this is not an experimental product that has reached its end, but rather the beginning of an exciting (but also long) journey.

I still can't quite believe that Apple tried to justify the $3,499 price of its Vision Pro headset by saying it's better than buying a 4K TV, surround system, a PC workstation with multiple displays, and a high-end camera 🙃

now supports System One (jev-1.13)—a model built natively for decision-making rather than text generation. Pro now supports System One (jev-1.13)—a model built natively for decision-making rather than text generation. 🧠 By returning calibrated probabilities for up to 64 typed questions in a single forward pass, it turns complex judgment into a scalable primitive. ⚡ For decentralized networks, this unlocks a new layer of autonomy at the node level: ⚖️ Consensus of Judgment: IoTeX delegates can independently score device readings and attestations, neutralizing spoofed sensors before they ever touch the chain. 🛡️ MEV Defense: Proposers can locally score the mempool for wash trades and toxic flow, protecting the network entirely in-house. The endgame for IoTeX has always been empowering machines to perceive, verify, and understand the world around them. 🌍 Pushing verifiable intelligence directly to the edge is how we get there. Apple spent 7 years and $3,500 per unit building Vision Pro, this guy did something better with a webcam in his bedroom. And no, this isn't a render, it's running live on his laptop right now with a webcam pointed at his hands. The webcam tracks 21 points on each of his hands in real time, every fingertip, every knuckle, every joint, mapped to a 3D skeleton at 60 frames per second. A piece of digital silk is rigged to that skeleton, so when he opens his palm the fabric drapes across his fingers, when he closes his hand it crumples in his fist, when he tilts his wrist the cloth slides off and folds with real physics, light reflecting off it like actual material. He can grab it, stretch it, throw it, catch it, all with his bare hands and zero hardware on his body. No headset, no gloves, no $3,500 face computer, no 600 gram brick on his skull, no 2 hour battery, no Apple ID, no App Store. Just a webcam, TouchDesigner and a kid who saw the Vision Pro keynote and thought, I can do that for free. Apple has 3,000 engineers, $200 billion in cash and 7 years of development time, they built a face computer most people will never own. This guy has a laptop, a webcam and a weekend, he built a future most people can actually use. The mixed reality industry just got embarrassed by a guy in a white t-shirt.
