“The last time that we were touring and stuff, I think touring is quite an isolating experience. And on top of that, when we started touring, it was 2021, so it was kind of like still depths of the pandemic. We were like one of the first tours to go back out. So I think that tour started in that way where it was like, I was really bubbled up even kind of within the tour. And then staying on that tour, we put an album out and it ended up being like two and a half years type time. I was just feeling myself kind of like shut out a lot of the world, “I think, and I think the last couple of years for me was about, you know, there's a lot of things that I think I got used to saying no to, like invites from friends and like maybe a weekend trip or like a birthday party or something. For the last few years, my doctor has been bugging me to get the Shingles vaccine and I really didn’t want to, so I started researching like the science geek I am 😂. What I found is pretty significant and I figured I’d share. There’s a cheap and readily available “cure”! BHT is a legal food preservative but it’s been found to stop viral replication in lipid enveloped viruses like shingles and many others! It can be used orally and as a topical cream. No, you probably shouldn’t take it long term since we don’t KNOW for sure it wouldn’t cause harm at high doses. I’ve convinced 2 friends to use it topically (one for shingles and one for cold sores) and 2 relatives to take it orally for a shingles outbreak. It worked within a day or two for all of them!! For those of us who want alternatives, this seems to be a great choice. I’m saying no to the vaccine and keeping this in my bag of tricks just in case I need it. Let me know if you try it and if it works for you!
