Finally, launch an army of “body positivity” influencers who secretly sell waist trainers, diet tea, and BBL payment plans while shaming natural bodies. A 20-year-old with a fast metabolism is convinced she needs a surgeon in Turkey when all she actually needed was Jamhuri Park and three months of brisk walking. The anxiety pays dividends: gyms, supplements, cosmetic clinics, and influencers all get their cut. These are not random social trends. They are interlocking control mechanisms: • Keep her praying instead of planning. • Keep her fighting men instead of fighting systems. • Keep her hating her body instead of occupying public space. The end game is the same: an exhausted, indebted, frightened woman who believes her liberation lies in buying the next course, attending the next conference, or posting the next “prayer warrior” reel; while the real architects of her constraints smile all the way to the bank. Until Kenyan women recognise that the biggest threat to their peace and prosperity is not the man sitting next to them but the system that profits from keeping them anxious, the cycle will never break. The revolution will not be monetised. The revolution will be calm, collective, and unafraid.
