I remember going door to door asking people if I could shovel their driveway and walks for a couple bucks. Not only that but took pride in my work and tried to do a great job. I suppose there are still some kids like that.

I agree with her totally. I worked my way through college— no big deal at that age. When you’re going to college, you should have tons of energy so you can go to school, work multiple jobs, and still have time to party.

I might give a kid a few bucks if he told me he was off to a trade school. Like hell yeah man, go become a bad ass plumber of HVAC guy or welder and stay in touch with me. I’m down to help a kid become useful, but you’re not getting my money to go be told your country sucks and men can have babies etc

You are definitely right in your beliefs! Just like our tax dollars being stolen for colleges they want you to foot a education that most of us can not afford. If you want to go to college you must earn it! I would think this would be illegal.

My mom told me early there is no college fund, so if I wanted to go, I had to pay for it myself with a job or become good at a sport.. So I did.. I played 8 years volleyball and got a scholarship to ASU..
