Arguing with a demoralized person

Yuri died thinking that he was unheard. I'm glad that he's getting a second round at spreading his message, he deserves the folk-hero status he's earning.

Most people don't understand that Yuri isn't using "demoralized" as is "dispirited, dejected, depressed." It's "demoralized" as in "had ones morals removed." The root word is "moral" not "morale".
