Wimp Sanderson, who won five SEC Tournaments and played in the championship game nine of 12 years, still considers the 90-89 semifinal victory over Arkansas on March 14, 1992, at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center as the greatest tournament game he’s ever seen. Elliot Washington, who Sanderson signed after watching him play half-court only, hit a three-pointer as time dwindled down to 1.5 seconds to give the Crimson Tide its one-point victory. Washington only scored six points against the Razorbacks, but the last three were the biggest of the game. “A knock-down, drag-out game with athletes like you’ve never seen,” Sanderson said. “(Latrell) Sprewell hits a shot to cut it two and we go back down the floor and we knew the right guy to foul. Gaur strays into a dense industrial area at Taloja MIDC Panvel. The Panvel Forest Department responded immediately and swung into action by limiting movement in the area to ensure no untoward incident. With no option to provide it safe passage, the Panvel Forest Department alerted the RESQ CT team to respond at the location to assist them in translocating him to a safer place. Our team reached there at 5 pm and immediately begun strategising the best option to capture him with minimal stress. Lucky for us all, he moved into a secure factory premise, limiting his movement and preventing any potential harm to himself or public. During this time, a ramp was constructed with the help of a JCB to facilitate its entry into a large truck that was enriched quickly to make it look green and conducive luring him in. Once everything was in place, the #Gaur was driven towards it. He cooperated incredibly as he walked right in and stayed calm. The teams immediately set off on their road journey to release in a safe habitat. The rescue and release process went off smoothly with absolutely no complications, all thanks to the incredible coordination between the Forest Department and RESQ team on ground. As we had done several training and awareness sessions together, teamwork last evening was like dream work! Last weekend when Museveni's son and other security operatives raided the National Unity Platform, they disconnected our CCTV cameras and the internet systems, took away the Digital Video Recorders (DVRs), and switched off electricity. They blocked the media from coming close to record whatever they were doing. They believed they had left no trace of any footage showing their intrusion and criminality. But we've been telling them that they're messing with a different generation. This past week, our IT specialists have been working hard, using extended technology to retrieve some of the footage. I am glad to note that they've made good breakthrough. Here is part of what we have so far. Although most of these operatives were masked, we can see that many of them were in plain clothes, while others were in SFC, Military police, regular UPDF, JAT, CT, Flying Squad, and regular police uniforms. One wonders what SFC commandos were doing in a political party office! We shall continue to profile all those who are being used to commit crimes against us and our people!

CCA would trim the deficit to 38-34 by the halftime break but failed to keep momentum out of the locker room. A big 3rd quarter from Braylon Cordonnier, where he scored 10 of his team-best 21 points, helped the Raiders create some separation on the scoreboard heading into the final stanza. On the strength of a 9-0 run midway through the fourth quarter, Russia would put the game away with three players finishing the night with 14+ points. An emotional crowd watched as the final seconds fell off the clock, ensuring the Raiders a perfect season in dominating fashion.
