Let us not forget it was the REPUBLICAN PARTY that ended slavery.

The North Carolina base was originally named in 1918 for Gen. Braxton Bragg, a Confederate general from Warrenton, North Carolina, who was known for owning slaves and losing key Civil War battles that contributed to the Confederacy’s downfall.

You forgot the part about it being the Republicans that freed the slaves from the democrats, and the democrats assassinated President Lincoln for this. This is why we are finally removing the names of these treasonous democrats from our military installations, and ships.

Let's worry about more BS instead of focusing on what matters....being an effective military. So glad I did my time when the leadership wasn't a bunch of candy-asses that don't know what bathroom to use.
