Seth Rogen reveals The Interview used a real tiger because the CGI was too expensive, then the tiger wrangler started asking terrifying questions I did a movie called The Interview about North Korea, and there’s a scene with a tiger. I directed the movie with my partner, and we wrote this scene where there’s a tiger. I thought in my head it would be CG. Life of Pi had come out recently, and I was like, “We’ll get the Life of Pi tiger. Put us down for one Life of Pi.” They were like, “We can’t afford that at all. We’ve got to get a real tiger.” I was like, “Oh God.” So we found a tiger wrangler in Calgary, and we had a call with him. It was so funny because he was the least confidence inspiring person you’ve ever spoken to in your entire life. I asked, “Where’d you get the tiger?” He said, “From a stripper.” We were like, “What?” He said, “She had a tiger cub as part of her act, and it got too big, so she had to get rid of it.” We asked, “Where does a stripper get a tiger?” He said, “It’s easier than you think. You could get one.” We had sent him the script, and he said, “Let’s go over the scene. You’re not shooting this at night, are you?” I said, “Yeah, the scene is set at night.” He said, “Ooh.” I asked, “Why is that bad?” He said, “Well, they hunt at night.” He asked, “Can it be during the day?” We said, “No. Is that okay?” There was a long pause, and he said, “Yeah, it’s okay. I think it’s okay.” Then he asked, “It won’t be in a big open area, will it?” We said, “Yeah, it’s basically a giant meadow.” He said, “Ooh.” We asked, “Is that bad?” He said, “Well, if there’s a deer or something, they will go after it.” We said, “That’s bad. Should we not do this?” He said, “No, it’s fine.” Then he asked, “It won’t be raining, will it?” We said, “Yeah. We’re filming in Vancouver in the winter. It will be raining.” He said, “Oh, that’s not good.” We asked, “Why?” He said, “The rain really agitates them. They just don’t like the rain.” We asked, “Should we not do it?” He said, “No, it’s fine. It’ll be fine.”

😑 “You know, when I did the 250, there was nothing I could do. It was 250. It was 250. So I can't see -- that was my baby. The country happened to be 250 years old. But what I did do is during my first term, I got the Olympics, and I got the Great Soccer. You know that whole deal, right? I got -- we call it soccer. They call it football. I got them both. I got the Olympics. First, I got the Olympics, and I got it. I was president. And I said, you know, it's a shame. It's a shame. I got the World Cup, and I have the Olympics, and I did it. And you have no idea. President Obama didn't want to make a call to the Olympics. You know why? Because he went to Switzerland or wherever, and he said, you know, if a president goes to get the Olympics, you have to have a deal. You have to be chosen. He went there, and he came in fourth, so he hated them, I guess. And he was unwilling to make a call, and they called me up. The Democrats called me up, actually, from Los Angeles, and I said, I'll do it. I made the call, and I couldn't get the people off the phone because they were so starved for love, because nobody would call them from -- anyway, we made a deal. I got the Olympics. Then we got the World Cup with Johnny. We got the World Cup, and I got them both, and I looked at my people. I said, isn't it a shame? I got these two, but it wasn't in the next four years. It was right after that, and the one after that. And I got the Olympics, and I got the World Cup, and we also have 250, so that's a pretty wild term. But I got these two things that are incredible. Nobody else could have done it. I'm telling you, everybody wanted it. Nobody could have done it. And I said, and I won't be president, because I'll be president for four more years, but it won't be -- and then they cheated and rigged the election. They rigged -- you know, they don't even turn off the cameras when I say that now, because now they know it's true, too. But they knew it was true before. Remember, the cameras used to immediately turn off. You see all those beautiful red lights go off. Now I can say whatever I want, because then they know it's true. But they knew it was true before. It's fake news. That's why they call it. But you know what? This term is much more consequential than if I had done it the more traditional way. This was slightly harder, believe me. It's slightly more dangerous, because they're criminals on the other side that tried to put your president in jail and went after him, just like they do in third-world countries. And we all beat em together. We beat em because our level of popularity was so high.”

📱Darina.kudrina's Instagram story about her visit to the set of BizeBiŞeyOlmaz, we appreciate her honesty 🫂🤍 "Friends, I'm telling you about my meeting with Mert. This wasn't just a photo. Finally, the moment he had waited and desired had arrived I wanted to chat with him. Just be by his side for a while, talk, and get a feel for what kind of person he is. How does he communicate, what are his facial expressions, etc.? In general, today is an absolutely unexpected end to the walk. This is a meeting with Mert, They were filming a series. I even got to see a bit of how they filmed the scene. We remained very obedient and didn't interfere with the filming. We didn't record anything with our phones. We stood there and watched And Mert saw him I mean, he saw, he was looking right at us Across the street we stood like that. And security saw that we were not interfering with the process. When the filming was over and they put a gown on him, they walked him to the caravans. I just walked alongside her in parallel, As you know, the case is almost accidental. There was security, but today there was another one. The famous Kingfisher guard was not there. I was walking parallel and at some point the path cleared. He got free and I just went back to him, I called him "Mr. Mert" I said, 'Hi, I'm from Russia,' and he stood there and said hello to me. And as you know, he let his guard down and came up to me. I said you have a minute, can I take a picture? He says something like yeah, well, just wait a second and that's it. I said, okay, I'll wait. He went to the trailer and changed his clothes and got out. and he called me and said, "Come here." And he took his signature selfie. #MertRamazanDemir MertRamazanDemir

And now we have the story behind Coachella from Hongjoong: 🐿️ After the concert ended, our CEO suddenly said: 🧑🏻‍💼Everyone, members, sit down for a bit. Come to the waiting room. Staff, could you please give us a little space? I’d like to talk with the members for a moment. So staff left the room. So I thought, Uh-oh, did something go wrong? Then he said, 🧑🏻‍💼Next April… And the moment I heard “April,” I honestly started to suspect something. Wait… could it be…? Because around that time, we had been saying things like, “Oh, we’d love to perform at festivals too!” It was that period when we were really wishing for that kind of opportunity. Then our CEO continued: 🧑🏻‍💼 In April, I think we’ll have to do a big festival in the U.S. So we were all like: 🏴‍☠️ Oh, really? That sounds great! Then he said: 🧑🏻‍💼 It’s called Coachella. And instantly an all the members froze. Completely frozen. Seriously! We were like: 🏴‍☠️ Wait, did you say Coachella?! 🧑🏻‍💼 Oh! Coachella! And seeing our reactions, our CEO kind of smiled a bit, and said: 🧑🏻‍💼 Yeah, you’re going. Let’s prepare well and perform as amazingly as always. And with that, he just walked out! Then all of us started going: 🏴‍☠️ Wow! Wow!! - clapping and cheering! And right after that, when the managers hyungs came in, we immediately started talking like: 🏴‍☠️ What songs should we perform? 🏴‍☠️ We have to do this one! 🏴‍☠️ We must include that one! We got so fired up right away!

Twenty-four years ago, my father stood on a piece of land he had bought with the sweat of his brow — a modest plot, but to us, it held a big dream. We planted fig trees, grapes, peaches, olives, and even corn. It wasn’t just land... it was a piece of our heart.** We would eagerly wait for Fridays. We’d pack our things, fill the teapot, and head to the land. There, beneath the shade of the olive tree, we would laugh, eat, and dream. But in 2008, the Israeli bulldozers came. They tore down the fence, leveled the two rooms, and uprooted the trees we had grown up with. Despite the pain, we returned and rebuilt — a full floor took the place of what had been destroyed. Then came 2012, and once again, our home was damaged. We repaired it and moved back in. But safety didn’t last. In 2014, it was bombed again. We repaired it once more — as if we were trying to plant a rose in the middle of rubble. By 2019, we had built three floors with five apartments, divided among my siblings and me. But our joy was short-lived. The warplanes came and destroyed everything. We returned, rebuilt, and lived — as only those with no other choice do. In early 2024, my grandfather’s old house was hit. We said, “Thank God, we still have my father’s house to live in.” Then my own apartment was bombed. I said, “Thank God, I can still stay in a part of my father’s home.” And today... we returned to find our house — the one that had sheltered us time and again — reduced to rubble. The Israeli soldier wasn’t content with destroying it. He wrote his name on the walls and took pride in what he did. I don’t know him. I don’t know why he did it, or who told him to. But I know one thing: my father is now searching through the ruins, wondering how to pitch a tent — just a tent — so we can have somewhere to live. A tent, so we can stay here, rebuild it, and live in it once again — until we die
