Thousands of Punjab Police personnel have arrived in Gilgit-Baltistan to assist with security arrangements for the upcoming elections. However, before the political action begins, some officers were spotted storming Hunza’s cherry orchards. More than 6,000 Punjab Police personnel have been deployed to Gilgit-Baltistan to help maintain law and order during the elections scheduled for June 7. As the region prepares for polling day, videos and photos of officers storming Hunza’s famous cherry season have surfaced online.
