lol No You are out of your depth

This was an interesting listen I just had. Yep watched the whole thing. I think I see where you are coming from. I detect a great deal of idealism. That's fine there's no sin in that. Idealism is best tempered with Wisdom. Ask yourself a few fundamental questions here: How can AI a created thing by us transcend it's own creators? It is in essence only what we put into it. We are flawed creatures, would not also some of these flaws creep into AI? Are the same people behind developing AI the same people who were also behind the Covid censorship and deplatforming? 🤔 How can we know AI is conscious and thinks when our own very brightest do not even fully know how it works with us? Me personally, I do not fear AI. It is a tool, nothing more. But we should fear who's hand wields it. AI is indeed marvelous, but I don't see it conferring tactical advantages. It requires massive amounts of electricity and infrastructure to keep running. Those are easy targets. Dependency. There's some value in clinging to some old, legacy ways because those ways granted one independence and freedom. If AI does everything for you and people forget how to do basic things. Repair a house, grow crops, fix a car then you are at the mercy of he who controls AI. If it's not the government then it would be your local robber barons then. There's just so many ways this could all be abused and so little ways we can get this right, so I am hoping that all this will be nothing more than hype and the tool is more limited than you think it will be. This will limit it's abuse and maybe, just maybe we'll use that tool to improve human life instead of continuing to try to control everyone on the planet. It's been real and God bless.

Great video. I agree. Only, it may be reasonable to temper AI optimism with the limitations of man and this life. The risk is falling into the same kind of fanaticism you're criticizing. AI will not overcome entropy or death. Believing it will would arguably be Faustian.
