As a solo developer, finding the right audio source is the hardest part when adding sounds. Plenty of jump sounds out there, but I couldn’t find one that felt Mario-like. So I tried making Mario’s jump sound myself. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart #SuperMario

I find myself creating things on the go. Ideas come anywhere. Especially when I'm walking. I think of them as spontaneous stories, a kind of daydreaming in motion. Until now, there was no real way to manifest that creativity quickly. But now I find myself opening Runway and just making a few clips. It's so fun. Vibe producing. A completely new way of making things. One that's only now possible. I made this exactly like that. About 40 minutes of work. The idea came after I felt a small electric jolt when plugging in my computer.

I was just totally out of my mind. Every song I wrote got rejected, but once I got over that, it felt like I’d leveled up two stages, and these days, I still get really stressed out when working on albums, but I’m not stressed about releasing them. So now, it feels like I’m doing music with more ease.”

🆑️: i had the thing there with the elastic (bungee jump) but i couldn't jump [demonstrates]. i did not jump... that was a waste of time, that's what i told myself. but that motivated me to do parachute CS: cause it doesn't depend on you jumping, depends on another man jumping 🆑️: true, so i had no choice love how he does 300 crazy adventures but he draws the line at bungee jumping 😭

But did you know that when they make sounds above the water, they're actually really quiet? 🐥: I saw a Shorts video about that too 🐯: There was also this experiment where if you fill a tank or like a bathtub with water and sprinkle in some salt, then if you use one of those metal triangle-shaped things the sound it resonates a lot 🐯: Did you know that it ended up making a sound kind of similar to a whale 🐥: Yeah, it sounds pretty similar. 🐨: I want some Whale Rice Crackers. 🐹: They're good, right? 🐨: They sound so good right now. 🐨: You know that green seasoning they have all over them? 🐥: This conversation has completely gone off the rails

I generated the audio first. Not the video. Ship announcement, ambient hum, rising score, the exact moment before a warp jump. One prompt, in Seed Audio 1.0. Then I fed that audio into Seedance and let it build the entire bridge scene around it. Camera, motion, the jump itself, all timed to sound that already existed. This is not TTS. This is directing a scene with sound before a single frame exists. 🔊 sound on and enjoy the trip
