Ukraine is mentioned considerably less not just in the Western media but Russian ones as well. You know that I've been watching Russian propagandists for almost two years now. For the past month their main topic is Hamas and Israel. On this video as well - they repeat that the situation with Israel has divided the West, distracted from Ukraine and helps Putin's regime in reshaping the world.

I appeal to my colleagues, the Speakers of the Parliaments of the countries that support Ukraine in our fight against the russian aggressor. Today I am in Kharkiv. This is one of the biggest cities in Ukraine. And you see behind me the result of the morning's russian attack on civilians. I want each of you to see these photos and understand that russia is a terrorist state. We need more air defence systems, anti-missile systems, artillery and ammunition. We need them as soon as possible. Ukraine is fighting for our freedom and yours. Make a decision. #StandWithUkraine

‘We need recognition of the agreements, but not from Ukraine’ – Putin. ‘We want to reach an agreement with Ukraine, but right now this is legally impossible. Whoever wants to on their side may conduct negotiations. What we need is for our agreements to be recognized by the main international players. That is all. This matters. It is one thing when decisions are recognized and the territories are under Russian sovereignty, and if the agreements are violated, it will be considered an attack on Russia with all the corresponding response measures, or it will be perceived as an attempt by Ukraine to reclaim its territories. Of course, we need recognition, but not from Ukraine.’

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte: what we need is to keep our eyes on the ball of Ukraine. Today, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, but also so many smaller cities in Ukraine are being are being hit by Russian missiles, by Russian drones. We know that the water supply is down, we know that electricity is down, it is minus 20 degrees in Kyiv as we speak. So what we need is to keep our eyes on the ball of Ukraine. Let's not drop that ball and that means yes, great peace talks, fantastic, we will do everything to conclude them successfully but it will not happen tomorrow and they need these interceptors, this military support tomorrow. The United States is willing to supply as much military support as Ukraine needs, particularly these interceptors, paid for by Europeans and Canadians. We must keep that flow going, ensure it continues, and make sure we do not lose sight of this main issue. Secretary General said this at the Ukrainian Breakfast organized by Viktor Pinchuk Foundation at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
