Curious about the demands on & dedication of the keepers: Do the keepers get days off or take vacations, or is this a unique vocation in which they dedicate themselves completely to advocacy for elephants? How long do keepers stay at ST? Do they have families themselves?

I'm always puzzled as to how keepers are able to recognise each individual elephant. Is it simply getting used to them and their individual behaviours?

When an ex-orphan introduces their new calf to the keepers, do the ellies allow the keepers to greet/touch them?

Do all of the rewilded elephants come back to visit? The ones that do come back with their babies is that to imprint on them that it is a safe place & a source of water & food?

Oh, I love these angelic elephants so much and I have many questions but will try to limit it to 3: 1) Do the Baby Elephants have an internal clock that tells them when it's milk time or do you ring a bell to let them know? 2) Do the Baby Elephants all get along and love each other? 3) How can you tell which Baby elephant is which - do they have name tags on a collar or you just know?

I know it's hugely rewarding to see the babies grow up and move on, but do the keepers miss them, particularly one who was especially affectionate or clingy?

I have a question about how long elephants nurse in the wild. You bottle feed until they are taller than humans, but at that height they would also be too tall to nurse from their mothers.

My question is, have there been any sightings of Emily and her ex orphan herd? It’s been years since there has been an update on them so I’m curious.

How do the keepers comfort orphans when they first arrive? And how long does the grief of losing their mother & herd last for these poor babies?

Out of all the elephants Edwin has helped to raise, does he have any favorites or ones that particularly stand out to him? I adopt Taroha but have also adopted Kerrio and Lualeni in the past

Do the keepers sleep in the same space as the elephant calves? What do the orphans do in the night? Are they distressed by their ordeal &have restless nights? How do you soothe them? Or are they like human toddlers in &out of bed being mischievous? How much sleep do they need?

Elephants are said to have long memories. Do they remember who was kind to them? Do they carry grudges against those who mistreat them?

I'd like to know : have you ever considered creating a little genealogy explainer, showing all the different herds and the family connections, and maybe describing how to identify them? Would be fun to know!
