As Morpheus said in The Matrix, there is a difference between knowing the path and walking it. Knowing the future does not preclude free will from choosing the action that brings that future to pass. The only problem I see with this explanation is the 5th dimension, in which...

It’s like what Neal in the Tenet movie said: Protagonist: Can we change things if we do it differently? Neal: What’s happened, happened. Which is an expression of faith in the mechanics of the world. It’s not an excuse to do nothing.

It is incorrect to conclude that we don't have free will, because unlike the fictional timelines described in the clip, our future does not yet exist, and, due to Heisenburg uncertainty, it cannot be fully predicted even with all possible information about the present universe.

My understanding of why we have free will, but God can also see everything is because like we may think even individually that what we’re doing is surprising to us or oh I just imagined this out of the blue and I’m deciding to do it, but God is like advanced advanced AI Superintelligence, which is no disrespect to God because it’s so small in comparison to him, but he knows everything we’ve ever been everything we are today and it’s not like it’s not like a probability, but it is formula when we think oh I’m gonna change direction in my life it’s because of a creation of events and circumstances emotions, and whatever that’s delta to this point that we make this change and to us that is free will no one‘s directing us to do anything, but God knows what we’re gonna do because of the data set. It’s not that he put it out there beforehand it’s just that and we see this too. It’s like we know very basically that there’s strong habits in our lives or the lives of someone else that we were watching and we know that we could kind of predict what they’re going to do next now where we can be surprised where they decide to break the habit and go back-and-forth for a bit or whatever and then they changed. God‘s not surprised by that it’s an creation of things that eat, even us individually were not wise enough to know all the little the subconscious thoughts that we’ve had all the dreams all the fire rings of our brain waves, etc. neurons circumstances, indirect direct communication all of this stuff. God’s God has a perfect understanding of all that when we don’t even have a understanding of ourselves even on a day-to-day basis, that is my understanding of God being omniscient and our having a free will

Also the future doesn’t exist yet… you still have self control, you can still choose to the right thing every time… Only now exists, when you travel the astravedic (I totally spelled this wrong lol) plane you are connected to all knowledge and that includes conscious possibilities that could happen. You always have free will.

Wait, this feels like a strawman because one of these conjectures is that either God can see and knows my future or God doesn’t know my future, but there’s no third option of saying there is no deity. I have physical control of what is immediately in my physical reach.

The fact that the existence of free will is debated proves that one of the two positions is incorrect iykyk

I’m always fascinated by this part: the observer — and everything changes. And yet the observer isn’t even making a request or demanding a particular outcome. The observer asks for nothing and doesn’t specify the result. No observer — there is one process. An observer appears — and we get a different result. That, to me, is far more interesting than any discussion about the future and free will. 🤔

It's called the illusion of free will. You experience life as if you freely choose. That’s the illusion. The brain starts moving before “you” notice. Genes, physics and etc already set the path. Consciousness just narrates and claims credit. The feeling is real. The freedom isn’t.

These are some of the shallowest arguments. I thought it was satire at first.

“Future”? Why do people believe that it’s called the space-time continuum? Look up the definition of “continuum”. Seriously.

🗣️♟️ World chess legend and Russian opposition figure in exile in the United States, Garry Kasparov, on the Russia–Ukraine war: 🇷🇺🇺🇦 “Russia’s future is being decided not in Russia, but in Ukraine. Since the very beginning of the full-scale invasion, our slogan has been: ‘Victory to Ukraine and freedom to Russia’ — in that exact order. We are not dreamers of some abstract ‘beautiful Russia of the future.’ We are doing what we can. We do not overestimate our strength, but we know exactly what we can do and where our place is. Today, our place in this war is alongside Ukraine, which is defending not only its own independence, sovereignty, and national integrity, but all of Europe and the entire free world. It is the shield of the free world against the advance of tyranny.” 📌 “We stand with Ukraine, which must win and protect the free world from this aggression.” 📌 “This is not a war where any form of compromise is possible. In fact, it is a war in which there can be no draw — precisely because there is no other task today.” 📌 “There is only one objective in this war. As Churchill said in 1940: ‘What is our aim? Victory at all costs.’ Despite the terror and horrors that lie ahead — only victory.” 📌 “And I have no doubt that this victory will be achieved. Then, I am certain, the prediction of one of the 20th century’s most prominent geopolitical thinkers, Zbigniew Brzezinski, will come true: without Ukraine, the Russian empire cannot exist. And there can be no democracy in Russia as long as an empire exists.” See the latest updates with us: NSTRIKE
