This Lyft driver was watching a show on her phone with earbuds in her ears while driving this mother and daughter. When the mother asked her if she was watching a show the driver told her she was just listening to it. When she informed her that it is against the law to drive with earbuds (it is the driver turned it around on her and started yelling at her saying that when passengers listen to or watch videos it is distracting and dangerous to the driver. She pulled over and made them get out. Lyft responded to the mother and daughter. “We're so sorry to hear what happened during this ride and can't imagine how you're both feeling. Why is it that I’m never there when all the fun things happen at the airport. Most of the time I only see entitled passengers or screaming kids. I would be hilariously entertained if I saw a woman ducking and dodging security while wearing running shoes like she’s was in the NFL. This woman was having an argument with the airline, she felt they were being unreasonable, that was the only explanation she gave. So she jumped behind the counter and said what she needed to say only to be met by security and she gave them a run for their money. Imagine being the guard who took a dive trying to catch her, I bet all his coworkers never let that down. Closest thing I ever seen to this was a teenager who “accidentally” picked up the wrong bag on the floor got up and left. The woman who owned it noticed moments later and saw the girl casually walking with the bag. She took off after her, when she finally caught up to her they left all common sense at the door because the woman started screaming at her and calling her a thief while trying to get the attention of security. The teen kept saying it was her bag. It wasn’t until security got there that they realized she did grab the wrong bag and that hers was kicked under the seat. The odd thing is, her bag looked nothing liked the one she took so it was hard to say if it was intentional because she did after all left her own bag with her stuff in it too. What about you, have you ever seen anything happen at the airport? I must take the boring airlines, I always miss out on the fun incidents.

She worked as a bartender and wouldn’t get home until late night most of the time. She came home from work and as she entered each room, she turned on the light. She slept in one of the attic bedrooms. The other room she was always nervous about and kept the door shut. She woke up in the morning and when she unlocked her bedroom door, she opened it to see the attic door open, the closet in that room was open too and it was clear someone was in there waiting, she could see the contents of the closet pushed aside. So while she slept, according to her whoever it was tried to open her door but couldn’t, so they left. Needless to say that the experience scared and she moved out until the other students came back the following semester. Is it possible it was one of the other roommates coming to get something from their room, would you automatically assume this was an intruder, wouldn’t the have just kicked down the door?

It’s getting g dark and temperatures are already beginning to drop, this young lady decides to take the garbage out, on the way out she locks the door out of habit. She walks back only to see the door is locked, she has no keys or phone on her. She rings the doorbell in hopes her family hasn’t fallen asleep yet. When nobody answers after she repeatedly rings the doorbell, she’s starting to get cold and starts to panic. She can’t help it and starts to cry. REPORT: I have obtained the 911 call from the swatting attempt on my family and me on August 24. The woman identified herself as Kelly Flesher, known as “Dallas Lady” on TikTok. Although I’m not close to her or know her personally, I know she supports Austin Metcalf, and I am certain the woman on this emergency call was NOT her. I know her voice well. This was not only an attempt to harass and possibly cause harm to my family and me but also an attempt to frame a supporter of the Metcalf family. On the day this happened, despite the police being professional and understanding, it was still disturbing and likely triggered my labor that evening. To make matters worse, Child Protective Services (CPS) was sent to my door the following day while I was in labor at the hospital. After my husband listened to the call, he was also disturbed. Being falsely accused of harming the person you love most is despicable and evil. I truly hope this individual is found and punished to the full extent of the law. (And yes, I censored the officer’s face because I care about my local LE.)

On the way out the door there was a man standing outside in her face, she casually walks by him and goes about her business. When she came back from Starbucks and running errands, she noticed he’s been there this whole time. She had to call her husband to come outside to show she’s not alone and to ensure she stays safe walking back to the apartment. Could this just be a big misunderstanding or do you think the man outside had other plans?

This is a great discussion by Elon Musk at the WEF in Davos on how Optimus will help the elderly. Our population is aging rapidly. Just the other day my grandmother fell and broke her hip. She lives by herself about an hour drive from me, so it's difficult to be there all the time. She was found on the floor laying for 5 hours. The only way we knew something was wrong was because she wasn't answering the phone, we had to drive an hour to see what happened. She refuses a caregiver who lives in the neighborhood to come in and check in on her, she insists that she doesn't need help. Optimus would be a huge lifesaver for her. She can still maintain her independence and have Optimus there to help her when she needs it. Optimus can adjust its help based on her personality and observing what she needs help with so she can still feel independent and active without all the dangers that come with being nearly 90 years old.

This has the opposite of her desired effect, as all her barging around can be a bit off-putting to the little ones! On this day, however, she was on her best behaviour – and it was little Daba (right) who did the barging! He was jealous of the attention that littler Zuri (left) was getting and couldn't resist a well-placed shove. Nyambeni prudently positioned herself between the toddlers and peace was restored. Every elephant seen here is an orphan. Rescued as babies, they will grow up in our care until they are ready to reclaim their place in the wild. Here we see some of Cora’s early imaginary play - imitating a routine that plays out in her house each day as her older sister leaves for (and returns from) school. Notice that it’s not BEING at school that she wants to reenact (a concept for which she lacks personal reference), but the process of coming and going - alongside the tender family interactions that occur during each. So armed with an old backpack labeled with her sister’s name, she heads off “to school,” using a board book to symbolize a cell phone - as both her mom and older sister wish her well. Seconds later comes the big payoff. She “returns home” from down the hallway and is greeted by big sister with the same enthusiastic “how was your day” that the girls mother has doubtless modeled hundreds of time. It’s called Pamper and Dash – we’ve all seen it adnauseum. This one is so annoying not only because of what she did , steal two hours of service getting a complete pedicure and nail service, she then refused to pay, but it’s her arrogant, fat-assed, entitled attitude . The shop owner was having none of it, so he videoed her walking out the parking lot to her car while his assistant took her license plate and had the police on the phone. The best part is you can hear on the shop owner’s phone the cops turning their sirens on and pulling her over as she was fleeing the scene. You don’t get to see it, but you get to hear it, and I love that. And you hear the tenacity of the shop owner. He could not believe that someone would get a service and then just leave without paying. I love how he refused to let her get away with it. I don’t know what the answer is here. Maybe pay before the service, or pay half before the service. I don’t know. I know this, I would not want to be a shop owner today having to deal with this nonsense all the time.
