As promised a quick tutorial on building physics-only characters using Roblox Server Authority and some visual smoothing. Games like Gangbests, PartyAnimals and Fall Guys are all very easy to do now. #robloxdev

This is so cool! I made a little Human Fallflat/Gang Beasts grip system using your sample place. I can throw blocks around and climb walls haha. Thanks for sharing! 🔥

Amazing! That took you no time at all!

I definitely plan on re-editing all the text in these tutorials - the AI assistance was not a net help at all.

this is so cool, can't wait to see more people utilize it in creative ways

what about the boneless cats?

That’s a bit more complex. Same basics but you need to drive bone positions on a rig.

I learned a lot from Chickynoid. Thanks for sharing yet another great source of knowledge!

Thanks! This was extremely valuable, you can make bullet hell competitive and fully physical 🤩

Bro cooked

Revolutionary.

Very valuable resource, thanks.

Super nice reference to use for server authority for anyone starting out with it!

can’t wait to see those kind of games start to appear on roblox

Time to have some fun!

you float if one arm is touching the ground

(1) Even at around 50ms ping, I experienced significant input lag. Interacting with the crates also caused frequent resimulations and noticeable small teleports. Is Server Authority actually practical with Roblox’s current architecture?

You shouldnt have ANY input lag at all with this? Thats sort of the whole point.

Really cool stuff! Would love to chat, Hit me back up in DMs!

Hi MrChickenRocket! I really admire your take on optimization and server authority. I run a small game studio building a high-quality car-soccer game with a custom car-physics system, and I'd love your help getting server authority right. Would you be open to it? 😁

this is super handy, the visual smoothing is the bit I always end up fighting with lol. been messing with Roblox PvP lately and it makes me wanna test some sillier knockback in Slime Ninja too

I see good stuff for this on those games which need some balancing but at the same time ts is useless for rp games cuz why would it exist in them while it's js morph into a character and then rp it. It wouldn't make sense at all.
