The TREES Act is a bipartisan bill that would remove tropical deforestation from products purchased by the state of New York. Protecting these forests is key to preserving biodiversity and combating climate change. After passing both chambers of the New York Legislature, the TREES Act now awaits Governor Hochul’s signature. They know there is nothing new about today's climate. There's nothing extreme, there's nothing new, the fluctuations are very minor, the temperature is very moderate.
