Their latest effort was a press conference claiming ICE used tear gas “near a school.” Neither seems alarmed that WGN reported Chicago leads the nation with 3,000 shot “near schools” last year. Chicago leads nation with 182 school age students 17 years and younger murdered or wounded this year. No mention of this grisly statistic by the mayor or Davis Gates, let alone a press conference.
